*no ones pov*
When harry and ron arrive in potions, harry realised snape isnt there yet. Thats a first, usually snape is really early to his lessons to get things set up.

Harry just shrugs and ignores it, thinking snape must just be running late.

Hermione is sat down talking to seamus but left a seat next to him for harry or ron and one on the other side of her.

'Hey hermione!' Harry exclaims and he takes a seat in between seamus and hermione.

Harry smiles at seamus who returns the smile, adding a small nod. 'Hey, harry,' he says.

Hermione hands harry his books.

'Thank you, hermione. Hi seamus!' Harry returns.

''Hi harry! Hi ron!' Hermione replies. She pauses,'harry, did you eat anything?'

Harry had completely forgotten about that. Besides, he knew even if he tried that he wouldn't be able to. He felt bad.

'Uh.. i- i- no sorry, hermione. i know you both wanted me to. Especially you hermione. i just couldnt,'' harry says, guiltily.

Hermione sighs. ''Atleast you tried,'

Harry felt really bad. He hadn't really tried at all but he couldn't bring himself to say it still. He just nodded.

Ron takes a seat on the other side of hermione just as snape walks in, looking like he'd eaten a lemon, as usual. Snape is a strict, harsh teacher and head of slytherin house.

Ron must have been talking to lavender. He has been talking to her a lot recently. Im glad he's found someone he likes. I was starting to worry about him.

''TODAY we are going to be making a calming elixir!' I tell the class, looking around the room for people i can pick on. My eyes land on potter and his friends. I glare at them, hatred in my eyes. Oh for goodness sake, i scowl. Not that useless lot.

I had just about had enough with him and his friends, especially seamus, who has never made a potion correctly in his life.  Now that i think about it, i don't think I've ever even seen him sit properly, never mind make a potion.

Well.. he's not made the right one anyway.

Not to mention potter. Potter was just as bad. Always going around acting all cocky and always getting into trouble. Honestly, sometimes i'm very tempted to cast a spell on him. It would certainly put my mind at ease. And maybe, perhaps, hopefully, it'll knock some sense into that useless, empty brain of his. I sigh.

Just as i was about to say what page to open their books to, someone walked in.

I get ready to yell at them for being late when he saw who it was.. my favourite student.

'Mr malfoy.' I say in my monotone voice.

'Professor snape..' draco replied in his deep voice and british accent.

'What are you waiting for malfoy?! Take a seat. We will discuss later why you were 10 minutes late to MY lesson.''

I really didn't want to have malfoy in detention as i secretly really liked malfoy (not as a relationship ya weirdos). Malfoy was my favourite student after all. Every time malfoy was in detention, i didn't make him do anything like i did to everyone else. We usually had tea and laughed about potter and his friends or something else just as stupid. Atleast it passes the time.

*harrys pov*

I pause. Was that a smirk i had just saw on malfoy's face? But just as quickly as it had came, it seemed to have disappeared. Maybe i was imagining it? Probably..
