She walked the dark hallway, her footsteps echoing through the empty space. Out of the silence, a screech sounded and a small creature scurried out one of the rooms and down the corridor. At that, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a gun, raising it and taking aim. With three shots down, the creature collapsed and turned to smoke. "And here I thought this was going to be hard." She scoffed, reloading the gun, slipping the gun back into her pockets. Then using that hand to adjust her tie. She turned, sticking both her hands back into her pockets. And here I am, still working as a slave to this hellhole. I give my all, and what do I get as thanks? Nothing. But hey, tough shit. I suppose that's what I get for being born so much better than everyone else.. Such a pain. Her mind spoke all the words she never knew how to say.

…

" "Agent Ghost", one of the most skilled agents alive. Her intuition against any situation far surpasses the current human race by a full mileâ€"" He rambled, laughing. "Her heritage has made it difficult to bring her to light without being captured, or worse, so she works in the shadowsâ€" That's all we have on her." He sighed, placing the file down on the table. I am Apollo.. The leader of this agency. Currently interviewing some lowlife looking for a bodyguard. Obviously suggested Ghost, who else would be better at this than her?

"That's perfect! Just one more thing though.." He smiled, his eyes narrowing.

"And that is..?" Apollo hummed in response, straightening his posture. I swear if..

"Is she single-"

"That's enough out of you." Apollo frowned, slashing his hand straight through the guy's throat. I knew it. Another guy who just wants to get with my prized agent. Honestly I don't even know why we bother letting these.. What's the word..? Ah. Rightâ€" Common folk.. into our building anymore.

Now here's a little lesson from yours truly.. I have an ability. People in this world are either born with one, or they're born normal like the rest of the population. Each ability is unique, though some can be passed down. My ability is: Wolf In Sheep's Clothing. I can gain any animal's ability, the drawback being I can't hold it for long. You can train to get better at using your ability, but I never had the time to. Back to what I did to this scumbag, I applied tiger claws to my hands, fun right? There's other cooler abilities though, like Wallow's. His is: Mind's eye. His whole thing is that he can look through your memories, even the ones you can't remember.. Terrifying really. Er- I have a feeling I should stop thinking about this right now, probably because everyone will just end up explaining it later..

The client hit the floor, his blood spilled over the wooden flooring. Apollo took a cloth and neatly cleaned his hand from blood, scoffing. He was overly protective of his employees, and being overly protective came with overly dramatic responses. He peered over the body, tilting his head up in disgust. Apollo turned, rolling his eyes and ambled back to his desk. He plopped himself down in his chair, spinning it so that he faced the front. Quickly jotting down a name he leaned back and kicked his feet up on the desk. Ghost should be on her way back, so all that was left to do was to wait.

With ten minutes passing, Ghost finally kicked her way into the room, the door hitting the wall. Her lip curled into a scowl as she staggered through the doorway. Although her mask stayed as emotionless as cardboard, you sure could tell when she was ticked off.

"You bas-" She was cut off by a fit of coughing, clasping her throat in her hands. She stumbled slightly, huffing. The bottom of her coat was singed, and there were burn marks on her hands and mask.

"Welcome back." Apollo rose to his feet, walking to greet Ghost. "How was your mission? Did it go well? Oh of course it did, you're Ghost after all!" He smiled, clasping his hands together. As he reached her, and before she got a moment to answer he gave her a pat on the back. "I have a meeting to go to, so you'll be in charge for the rest of tonight." He put it bluntly, slatuing her before sliding out the doorway.
