OLLIES POV
I looked at Nugget after the mice ran away and looked up where Ira was looking. God dammit!! "OMG!! Is that a cat and what.. What is THAT!!!??" Sydney screeched at Nugget. I rolled my eyes and moved away from James to get my cat down from the edge.
"That Thing! Has a name and it's Named Nugget!" Ira said while glaring at Sydney. I huffed a laugh at the comment and continued to try getting Paris down from the edge. "And just so your small puny brian knows! It's a hedgehog." Ira said with a satisfied smile and went over to Nugget and picked her up. Of course I didn't forget about the pain running through my body. I just chose to ignore it. I finally got Pairs safe in my arms and sighed in relief. "This is why I don't let you run around." I muttered to him quietly. The group stared at us with their jaws dropped. "What?" I asked and they blinked at me as if I was stupid.
"Why do you guys have pets?" Luke asked, confused. "Um, because? We didn't want to leave them behind?" I said.

IRAS POV
After we got Paris down we all just looked around a bit, trying to find a vent or something to escape.
All I could think about was Olivia.
Did she really mean to hide behind me?
No! It was probably because I was the first person she saw.. Right?
Fern and Ivy start petting Nugget and Paris and giving them belly rubs. "AWW!" They both said in unison.
Suddenly out of nowhere Ollie collapsed. Everyone ran over to Ollie.
"Ollie!? You okay??" I asked, stepping forward to help him up. When I touched his hand my hand burned and I yelped in surprise.
Ollie looked up and flames were along his body. He didn't seem to be burning..
"O-Ollie?" James asked, concerned.
Ollie stood up looking confused as his whole body lit on fire.
We all backed up away from him.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING TO HIM!?" Chad yelled.
Ollie just closed his eyes and looked concentrated.
After a couple seconds the fire went away almost looking like it was bending to his will.
"What just happened?" Fern squeaked.
Ollie looked a little concerned but kinda impressed by himself.
"I think it was in the injections they gave us!" Ollie spoke up
"I can make a fire appear!" Ollie exclaimed looking hyped up.
Within seconds fire danced along his fingertips like nothing. He then just made them go so effortlessly.
Everyoone was speechless.

OLLIES POV
Everyone watched me as I made fire dance along my fingers and then it vanished like nothing happened. I looked at everyone before a thought came to mind. We were all injected with something! That means they all must have a power or whatever you want to call it. "Wait." I said and flicked my gaze over the group around me. "We were all injected right?" I asked. Everyone nodded.
"I believe so." Dale spoke.
"Wait, are you saying?" Ira asked, already knowing what it was about.
"Yes! We were all injected so I bet we all have something at least!" I exclaimed before lighting my fire again.
"Are you saying I have powers?!" Chad asked. I rolled my eyes.
"No." I said and he frowned. "Yes dimwit! Isn't that what I just explained?" I asked making my fire come out of my hand like a mini campfire. Chad grumbled and I rolled my eyes again.
"So when do you think we can activate ours?" Mary asked. I shrugged.
"It's hard to tell." I hum. "Maybe it hasn't kicked in yet or you haven't found it in you?" I say unsure. I made my fire disappear as the group looked between one another.

IRAS POV
Everyone in the group all ran in different directions attempting. To awake their powers.
Chad was trying to blast Sydney but yelling "POWERS ACTIVATE!" As loud as he possibly can.
A couple other people were chasing each other around trying to blast each other.
I just giggled and went over to my bed.

OLLIES POV
I rolled my eyes at the others' antics but just lightly giggled. I then walked over to a corner after scooping my cat Pairs up. I made a small fire in front of Paris but not too close to him. My flames disappeared and I kissed Paris atop of his head. I closed my eyes, growing tired all of a sudden. The chaos in the room acted as background noise for me. I sighed out slightly. I yawned and opened my eyes again. I watched some people from the group run around and the others were on the few beds we had in the room. I shifted so I was more comfortable before closing my eyes again. After a minute I opened my eyes again. I should probably watch these toddlers so they don't actually hurt themselves. Ok, maybe for some of the people I wouldn't mind them getting hurt. My body still was in pain but it was whatever. I began petting Paris as I watched the teenagers run around chasing each other. Sometimes a person or two would stumble and almost trip. After a while they began to settle down and to get tired. I closed my eyes once again and rested my head against the wall. I let out a soft sigh before settling into where I was. I was content and began to drift off. The last thing I remember is a weight on my shoulder I thought.

IRAS POV
After everyone settled down a lot of people went to sleep. But of course me, the little sleep deprived gremlin, stayed up.
I looked around to see Olivia and James awake too.
I called them over and we started playing two truths and a lie.
After a bit it got boring so we just talked about pancakes.
Mid conversation, someone started running into the room.
Everyone woke up except for Ollie.
James gently shook his shoulder to wake him up, but Ollie didn't budge.
After seeing James's pathetic performance, I ran over to Ollie and screamed in his ear. "WAKE UP ASSHOLE!" I scream, shaking him awake.
Ollie looked around, looking pissed but then saw it was me so let it drop.
Then Ollie noticed our captors filling inside the room and he got up.
They all forced us against the wall with our hands up.
Paris was hidden on the ledge up high again, this time with Nugget. Surprisingly , they started to get along. I was scared Nugget would fall, because she has no depth perception, so I trusted Paris with her.
The scientist came in again and handed us each a plant looking substance.
"Is this weed?" Chad asked stupidly
Ollie rolled his eyes along with some others.
"No." The scientist simply stated, dismissing the topic.
"Now eat it." He started completely unfazed.
I had nothing to lose so I was the first to eat it.
A sudden pain shot up through my body and I collapsed on the floor clutching my stomach in my arms.
The scientist did not force us to take it and just left.
Everyone ran over to me and attempted to pick me up but I just slipped through their arms and they all looked around in confusion.
Despite the pain, I stood up and looked down at me.
I was completely invisible.
"H-hello?" I said, waving at Ollie who was right in front of me.
Everyone's eyes shot to where my voice was.
"Ira!?" several people shouted running over to where my voice was.
I concentrated on my body becoming visible again and breathed out.
And poof! I fell to the floor, but quickly stood back up.
"Ira!? What just happened?" Olivia asked, reaching her hand out to make sure she could feel me.
"I think she got her ability!" Sydney gasped.
"No shit sydney!" Ollie grumbled rolling his eyes.
"Wait Wait Wait! I'm gonna try to go through the door." I rubbed my temples really concentrating on becoming invisible.
I felt my heart leap and I assumed I was gone. Time to go explore.
