eli moskowitz and demetri alexopolous have been best friends since childhood. they met sabrina cousins, or sabs, in seventh grade. she was best friends with rich girl, samantha larusso, who became friends with some of the other rich girls, moon and yasmine. sam and sabs were also best friends with aisha robinson. sam and sabs stood best friends but drifted away from aisha, who sabs stood friends with. sabs was also friends with moon and yasmine, but was always feuding with yasmine.
besides sam, sabs favorite friend was eli. he was quiet while she was loud. he was nerdy while she was a class-clown. he was anxious while she was chill. he everything she wasn't and vice versa. sab liked that they were opposites. it balanced them.
ever since they became friends, eli worshipped the ground sabs walked on and sabs, well, never noticed. mostly because she chose not to notice it. she chose to ignore his crush on her and her crush on him.
but what she didn't realize was that ignoring it wouldn't do any good.
eli. eli, though, has a change. when he changes, he is brave enough to be with sabs.
but what he didn't realize was his change wasn't doing them any good.
her continuous ignorance and his change broke the relationship.
and our story starts before the relationship begins.
