Right now during closing hours at Diluc's tavern Diluc was on his knees with Kaeya dead in his arms crying in shock still trying to come to terms with what happened.
Few minutes ago Diluc and Kaeya were having an argument about the past and now and it got heated to the point Diluc snapped and he accidentally used his pryo vision in a fit of rage causing Kaeya to stumble back and fall from upstairs hitting his head causing him to die instantly.
Diluc was horrified and crying begging Kaeya to wake up but he wouldn't. He didn't mean to kill Kaeya it was a freak accident one he couldn't undo.
He didn't know what to do he didn't want to lose his brother. Then suddenly his heart stop as someone walked into the tavern and he looked and saw a man in a black hood cape his face covered by a mask.
Unknown man : seems like you need my assistance"
Diluc : I.....who are you....."
Unknown man : someone who's been around. Someone who can bring your little brother back from the dead"
Diluc : I...no that's impossible"
Unknown man : but it's not. I know a way it's in it's testing faze and it wouldn't hurt to try it on him. I mean what's there to lose"
Diluc : there's some catch.....tell me who you are!"
Unknown man : I could walk away and you'll never get the chance to bring your brother back. Don't you want him back?"
Diluc knew he shouldn't accept this offer he knew it was only bad. But he was desperate he couldn't lose Kaeya.
Diluc : I'll do it whatever it takes. Please help him....."
Unknown man : good good we'll take him to my lab"
An hour later in the forest they are at a college that looks abandoned but looks like alab inside and right now kaeya was on a table with the blood cleaned up and wounds
Stitch up. He also had IVs and tubes in him pumping blood and an unknown blue substance into him as the unknown man was checking the machines and mixing something.
Meanwhile Diluc was watching everything hoping whatever was being done would bring back Kaeya.
Few minutes later the unknown man then started pumping a purple glowing substance into Kaeya through the tubes and IVs and backed away a few steps as did Diluc.
Unknown man : this should only take a few seconds"
Unknown man then pulled a lever which sent electricity through Kaeya's body for a few seconds then it stopped and they waited.
And minutes later Kaeya's hand started to twitch and he started breathing.
Diluc : kaeya? I-
Diluc suddenly notice the unknown man was gone and as he turned back to Kaeya he saw his eyes shoot open looking glossed over and dead looking.
Kaeya then immediately fell off the table getting up in an unhuman way his body twisting in ways it shouldn't be able to without it hurting or killing him.
Diluc realized Kaeya was a live at a huge cost. He was a zombie.
And soon as he realize this Kaeya immediately started attacking him knocking him to the ground trying to kill him and bite him. But Diluc was blocking and quickly had to kick him back and then started running away through the forest.
As he ran through the forest he suddenly came to a dead end so used his pryo vision to set the grass on fire around him and as Kaeya got close he suddenly stopped seeming afraid of the fire.
And just starred at Diluc looking more animalistic than human. Then he ran off into the forest.
Diluc didn't know what to do but he knew he had to tell everyone. There was no telling what Kaeya would do he could start killing people. Diluc had just unleashed an undead monster on Mondstadt.
Later rin the morning at the knights of favonius headquarters Diluc was telling Jean Lisa and Albedo about what happened but left out the part about him being the one to killing Kaeya and said it was just some accident.
That Kaeya was drunk and fell down from the top floor at the tavern. Anyway everyone immediately looked sad and heartbroken at the news.
Diluc : I know.....I know I shouldn't have....."
Albedo : grief can make the mind do things it wouldn't normally do despite the risks.... bringing the dead back is just forbidden. Especially how this man did it.
There's no way of predicting he would come back who he was. I believe Kaeya is gone and all that was brought back was a body with no soul."
Lisa : I....I can't believe this....."
Jean : ...... this....this is awful news.....but we have a bigger problem. Despite ......We have to capture him before he kills or hurts someon-
Suddenly a knight ran in explaining an adventurer was brutal killed in the forest that looked like it wasn't done by an animal and witness says they saw it was Kaeya.
Jean : ........"
Jean then immediately started explaining a plan and then quickly left with Lisa and Diluc.
And Albedo was about to leave too until he saw Klee standing there her eyes watering up looking sad. And Albedo immediately knew she had heard everything.
Klee : n....no.....big....big brother Kaeya can't be dead!"
Albedo went over to her and hugged her as she started crying her eyes out at the news of Kaeya being gone.
Days passed and nobody could find Kaeya but 2 more death were reported.
Meanwhile Klee has been very sad and spending time in kaeya's office where they were supposed to have a tea party. And she still left everything set up.
It was heartbreaking to see but nobody could make her leave so they left her alone.
Eventually today in the night Klee was heading back home but as she was walking through the forest she heard growling and someone following her.
Klee : Big brother Kaeya is that you!?"
Klee knew what happened to Kaeya but was convinced he wouldn't hurt her.
Klee : you can come out. It's okay"
Slowly Kaeya limped out of the shadows and looked at Klee and before anything could happen Klee ran to him and said.
Klee : I know you didn't mean to hurt those people big brother Kaeya!. And I know you won't hurt me!. Your not a monster!"
As Kaeya was being hugged by Klee he suddenly raised his hand and hesitated before suddenly putting it on her head and patting it as tears leaked from his eyes.
Klee then heard guards coming and heard jean Diluc and Albedo yelling out for her. She then looked up at Kaeya and said.
Klee. : you have to run away. So they don't get you. My friend in liyue Chichi she's a zombie and Mr Baizhu takes care of her which means he can take care of you. You need to go over there!"
Kaeya then started walking away as Klee ran to everyone to distract them so Kaeya had time to leave.
And so like Klee said he headed towards liyue.
