I wake up to my alarm
4:30, that's the time it reads. I get up and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. It's been 1 month since you moved to Las Vegas, it's just like any other place. Many people think of Vegas and only think about the casinos and luxury, but it's just like any other place
There are good parts, bad parts, and regular parts. I don't live close to "the strip" as they call the part of Vegas full of casinos.
Today is my first day of school. I got accepted into a performing arts school. It's called "Las Vegas Arts and Sports Academy" (not a real school). I heard many things about it. It's supposed to be a great school.
I'm a dancer. I love to dance and I think I'm pretty good at it. I joined a studio in 6th grade, so about 5 years. But really I've danced my full life.
Ever since I was little, I always thought dancing was fun. I always looked up to my cousin Gen she's so cool. She's 5 years older than me, and she's always been my role model. Every time I saw her dance, I loved how she looked and how much fun she had.
So here I am 7 years since I last saw her. When I turned 6, I moved to the U.S. from Mexico, and I haven't been there since. I still speak fluent Spanish, and I moved to Seattle when i first came to the U.S. I didn't have any friends in Seattle, so moving didn't affect me. But now here I am in Vegas, about to go to school and do the thing I love most....Dance.
