~Beth POV~
Bad Omens had just finished their encore and were coming back off the stage. I was so happy to of seen it from side of stage even if I did miss most of the show.
"You did amazing!" I said, excitedly as Nicholas and Nick passed me.
"Thanks, girl!" Nick winked at me. I felt flustered over that. Then came in Jolly who put his hand out to a high five for me.
"Hey! Aim for the hand, not the chest!" Jolly joked. I gave him a frown but with a smile as I high fived him. I knew that was gonna be a running joke with Jolly, but at the same time it was cool for him to know who I was and remember me! Lastly, out came Noah, dowsed in sweat, which I honestly didn't mind.
"Did we look cool? Did I look cool? Tell me I looked cool, come on!" joked Noah as he came over to me, making me laugh.
"You looked cool." I giggled.
"Good, I better of looked cool, better not lie to me now." he continued to joke, pointing at me. His humour made me feel more relaxed which was what I assumed were his intentions. "So, what are you doing now? Hanging out?" he asked. Just as I was about to open my mouth, Imogen came over, calling my name.
"Beth! We can stay here for Ice Nine Kills!" she said, grabbing my hand. She glanced over and up and saw Noah stood beside me. "Oh! Hello, again!" she said.
"What's up, didn't catch your name." Noah said, holding a hand out to her.
"Imogen, see you've met Beth now that she's awake properly." Imogen winked at me. I felt a surge of anxiety fluster my face at her comment.
"She's all good now." Noah smiled at me, making me blush. "I was just asking her what you guys were up to but I guess you're gonna watch Ice Nine Kills?"
"Well, I am, if you want to steal Beth for a little bit?" Imogen said, smirking.
"Well, it was more of just wondering if she wanted a drink...if you wanted a drink?" Noah nervously laughed whilst turning to face me again.
"I-"
"Sweet! Grab me a Corona when you head back up, have fun!" Imogen interrupted me before walking off. She sometimes came across as rude but I knew she was honestly just pushing for me to stay with Noah a bit longer. Noah watched her skip off towards side of stage to where she would watch Ice Nine Kills and then he sniggered.
"She always to the point like that?"
"Oh...yeah, sorry. That's just typical Imogen, she means no harm!" I explained.
"No sweat. Anyway, drink? We have our own vip section for catering." said Noah.
"Yeah, sure, why not. I could do with something other than water." I replied. Some alcohol may calm my jangled nerves. Noah smiled and began to lead the way to vip catering.
"I dig the shirt by the way." Noah winked at me.
"Oh, you know them?" I said, trying to be funny as I looked at my Bad Omens shirt.
"Yeah, pretty shit band." Noah joked back. We both laughed as he continued to lead me on.~Imogen POV~
I looked out over the crowd from the sideline and just saw a sea of people, waiting for the next act. I was so excited to watch Ice Nine Kills from where I was. I was hoping to meet the rest of the band after the show with Spencer. I watched the crew set up the stage for Ice Nine Kills; putting up their banner and setting up Patrick's drum kit and Spencer's mic stand. I pulled out my phone to rewatch the video I had made with Spencer. He put on a full ghostface costume, robe and all, and came up behind me and fake stabbed me with his ghostface knife and then revealed his face to the camera. It was good content and it was also really hot. I already had a thing for ghostface but even more so now. Suddenly, my phone began to ring in my hand which drastically changed my mood. Billy. I had had enough of him harassing me thinking he could just try and get to me whenever he wanted to, so I decided to take action. I answered the phone pressed it to my ear.
"Ah, Imogen, I-"
"No!" I cut Billy off. "You listen to me! You stay away from me, okay? Stop calling me, stop texting me and stop trying to come by my apartment. I'm not even in Massachusetts, I'm far away from a horrible piece of shit like you! Now fuck off and die!" I screamed down the phone before aggressively hanging it up. I let out a groan and then turned my head, realising someone was standing there, looking shocked. It was Patrick, the drummer for Ice Nine Kills, standing there with raised eyebrows, holding his drumsticks.
"Shit, I'm so sorry!" I apologised.
"Well, that sounded intense." he said, blinking hard.
"Oh god, that's so embarrassing, how much did you hear?" I asked, putting my hand on my head.
"Oh...you know...only the whole thing." smirked Patrick. "Patrick Galante." he said, reaching a hand out to me.
"Imogen Horror." I replied, groaning from embarrassment.
"Ah, yes! Spencer's Imogen. Was wondering when we were going to meet you." he smiled, shaking my hand. Spencer's Imogen? Is that what they were calling me?
"You know me too?" I asked, a little confused.
"Yeah, yeah, we definitely know you." chuckled Patrick. "Spencer's been watching nearly all your YouTube videos the last few days. Going on about how you're meeting for content. Almost excited about it. Your content is pretty rad though, I like your horror movie countdowns." said Patrick. Spencer had been going on about me!? That was insane to me! I thought I was the only excited one, it seemed Spencer was excited to meet me too. Maybe dreams do come true?
"No way, really? Thanks man, I appreciate it!" I thanked, keeping my cool.
"I, uh, hope you got that situation under control." he said, pointing at my phone in my hand.
"What? Oh! That. Yeah, you know, stalker exes, nothing too crazy!" I brushed it off.
"Stalker? You'll wanna be careful with those." said Patrick, raising an eyebrow. I flailed my hand, brushing it off more until Spencer came up behind Patrick.
"Hey, meeting Imogen?" he said, placing a hand on Patrick's shoulder.
"Yeah, she's rad. Just like you said." Patrick said, leaning in to Spencer. Spencer narrowed his eyes at him and then over at me.
"You ready for the show? We're about to head on." he smiled. I stepped to the side so the band could get past me to head on stage.
"Always ready." I smiled. I saw the rest of the band, Dan, Joe and Ricky come up and then Spencer went to the back of the line. Spencer began to jump around, holding a shovel in his hand as one of the props, which meant I knew what was their opening song. Patrick went out on stage first, sending the crowd crazy. Next went on Dan, followed by Ricky and then Joe and lastly Spencer. Spencer spun around as he passed me and gave me a wink which made my cheeks feel hot. The smoke machines on stage had been going so it looked like Spencer had just appeared there.
"Slave to the plot, let them rot, or bring them back forever. Sometimes, sometimes, dead is better!" Spencer screamed into the microphone, starting off their show with Funeral Derangements. His unclean vocals sent shivers down my spine.
