'I just don't understand why you're making this such a big deal',

I said to Paul, he looked at me slightly dumbfounded. I shook my head at him and walked into the meeting room so we could have at least some privacy. I let out a slight breath waiting for him to follow me, without looking Paul slammed the door shut not realising that my hand was in fact in the door frame. I yelped in pain, Paul turned around to realise what had just happened,

'y/n!',

Paul yelled as I pulled my hand out of door. Tears immediately welled in my eyes and began to fall,

'y/n I am so sorry just forget about everything',

Paul said to me quickly moving the door and looking at my hand. I nodded my head,

'Paul I don't care I just wanted to make sure you were okay with it and we can keep discussing this later but right now I think I need some ice because my hand feels broken',

I said beginning to shake in shock. Paul nodded his head at me,

'y/n it's okay, you're going to be okay right now you're in shock so I need you to breath and try and steady your heart rate'.
