Chapter 1 ~ It All Started With A Dare

Why is it danger that I see deep in your eyes?

What terrible truth do you cover with your lies?

Your words soft and seductive as we dance.

Spinning in your arms I am lost in you, entranced.

What is this strange power you have over me?

This passion so blinding I can barley see.

About you I know nothing at all

Yet I can't resist your oh seductive call.

Still this magical night still holds a danger untold.

As I succumb to your kisses hot and bold.

As the moon glows softly in the night.

It is into my soul you gently bite.

Lost in ecstacy lost in dream.

It's only the heights of pleasure that make me scream.

As nights of blood and passion fill my head.

Every morning I still awake alone in my bed.

Rumpled sheets and virtue gone.

I can't help but hate the dawn.

Lost and empty throughout the day.

Not knowing what keeps you away.

Yet when at last you appear.

Your voice is the only thing I hear.

In your arms I lose control.

Your ancient blood replacing my soul.

I yearn for the return of the night.

When your arms can again hold me so tight.

But since I'm too dazed to care.

I'll still always know it started with a dare.

The phone rings as Jamie answers it.
"Hey girl" Jamie says with a tired and sad tone in her voice. "What's wrong now?" Replies Lisa. Jamie explains that Sarah and Isaac are going on their fourth date this week. Lisa replies with a sigh. "What's so bad about Sarah. I mean other than she's annoyingly popular?" "There is something off about Sarah and her little possy." Says Jamie with suspicion in her voice. "Ugh why can't you just like Jake or Chris?" Says Lisa with annoyance. Jamie explains with a bit of rage "1 I don't even like Isaac!" Just as Jamie is about to say 2 Lisa interrupts with a whatever. "Let me finish." Jamie demands as she slowly loses her patience. Lisa reluctantly says "Fine..." As Jamie replies with a thank you and carries on " 2 there is TOTALLY something strange about Sarah and her clones!" Lisa then jokingly says "alright I'll play along Sarah and her friends all wear their underwear backwards!" Lisa continues to laugh as Jamie is officially annoyed. "Sorry sorry." Lisa apologizes. " well ok bye see you at school!" Jamie Says. Lisa says the same as they hang up. Off to school they go!
