"GO, GO, GO!" The commander yelled as we ran into the field. I got in a scouting position and shot whoever was against us who gave at us and then another squadmate went to the next scouting spot and we followed. We all took turns and threw grenades into windows and tanks when need me... although I wanted to steal that one tank... oh well.
We get to the rendezvous. "We're at the rendezvous, Sargent. All looks clear-" Jimbo spoke in his walkie but gets cut off. We were suddenly surrounded by the enemy, clearly out numbered, we still pointed our guns at them and they pointed their's at us.
"Drop your veapons, American scum. You are out numbered." One of them said. "I like those odds." I retort and I shoot while everyone ducks, I get shot where my bullet proof vest is and I turn and shoot more, the others shoot to help me. We block ourselves like the unbreakable wall with spears and shields but instead this was with guns and extra vests.
I point my gun at the one who had talked after the rest of his crew died. "Put your weapon down, you're outnumbered."-"On contraré I happen to like those odds as vell." He ran as fast as lightning and to me, took me away and held me where my squad would shoot me if they tried to shoot him.
"You're no human." He hissed. "Neither are you." I retort and the vampire dude held be closer, in a choke hold but not choking. "Let's see vhat you a'e then." He kicked me to the ground and my squad shot at him but the bullets would ghost through him or he'd not get hit. They stopped to not waste bullets. "What does he mean you're not human?" Jimbo asks. I secretly get a silver knife from my vest and turn and stab the vanpire right in the heart, twist, and pull out. "I don't know what he was talking about." I stand up and pickup my gun. He's a vampire. We need to get silver bullets next time and I'm starting to think there's a traitor at base.
"But we're here to gather the other team." Jim points out. "We'll stay to make sure but if no one comes in the time period Sarge told us, then we go back and get answers. Cause if no one shows up they either died, got held up, or we were supposed to be dead." I look at them. "Its too much of a coincidence that we got attacked right after you walkied the Sarge, we had made sure this place was clear." I sit down, against my backpack. "That still seems farfetched, yknow?" Jim sat too. "Maybe. But I got a bad feeling about all this." Orion watched the ground.
