The Lorax: pipsqueak goes to the fair

Chapter three

The next day had finally came. After having breakfast, Onceler and Jenny got ready to go., and had the wagon with Melvin ready. All they needed to do was wait for Jeremy and Norma to come. They were sure that it wouldn't take long, though.

Eventually, Norma and Jeremy showed up.
"Norma! Jeremy! You're here. We've been waiting for."
"Hey Once!" Norma smiled brightly and hugged Onceler. They looked into each other's eyes in a fond, romantic way.
Jeremy whispered to Jenny,
"They're doing it. They're giving each other the look."
Jeremy snickered, but Jenny jabbed him in the arm and gave him a stern look.
"Ow."

Lorax, Pipsqueak, and some other animals headed over to see Norma and Jeremy.
"Chrysanth! Buckeye! Nice to see you both!"
"It's great to see you too, Lorax. Hey there!"
Pipsqueak ran up to Norma and greeted her affectionally.
"Pipsqueak! How are you doing, you cute ball of fur?"
Kneeling down, Norma rubbed the hair on top of his head and pipsqueak smiled satisfied by the affection.
"He sure is one cute ball of fur",
Onceler agreed.
"You all ready to go?"
"Of course we all! I want to have fun!"
Jeremy cried out with joy.
Norma laughed at her younger brother.
"Alright, hold your horses. We'll be going."

Pipsqueak looked on longingly. They looked so excited for where they were going. He wanted to be a part of it so badly. If only they were some way he was able to go.
Lorax went over to Pipsqueak.
"Don't worry, Pipsqueak. They'll be back soon. We'll have plenty of fun. Want to join in a game of poker?"
Pipsqueak ignored him and Lorax shrugged.
"Alright, suit yourself. Have a good time, guys!"
He waved them goodbye and walked off.
Pipsqueak looked at Onceler then Jenny.
He saw that Jenny had sat down her messenger bag against a truffula trunk and seems to not notice it.
If only there were some way to sneak along with them....

Wait. Pipsqueak had an idea. He would hide in Jenny's bag and go with them in there. That way, he won't miss out on all the fun.
Pisqueak looked all around him to make sure no one, especially the Lorax, was watching. As he saw the cost was clear, he made a run for the messenger bag. When he got there, he looked at the group to make sure they didn't see them. Slowly and quietly, Pipsqueak opened the bag and slid inside. He closed the bag but left it a tad open so that he could breath.
Pipsqueak peeled out the slight opening. They still didn't seem to know that Pipsqueak snuck into the bag. He stayed as quiet as possible.

A moment later, he saw Jenny come toward the bag and he felt her grab and lift the it. Luckily she didn't seem to notice any weight difference, yet Pipsqueak stayes very still and quiet.
"Alright, we're ready to go,"
Onceler said.
"Let's head out. Bye, mustache. Bye, Pipsqueak."

But Onceler didn't hear or see Pipsqueak anywhere. Onceler thought he'd come straight to him, but then he thought h that Pipsqueak was too sad to answer or come to him. He frowned sadly at the though.

"Oncie, I feel sorry for leaving Pipsqueak here",
Jenny said sadly.
"If only we were Able to take him. He's be very happy".
"I know Jenny ."
Norma put a hand on Jenny's shoulder.
"But we'll see and have some fun with him later. He'll be alright."
"Yeah, Jeremy piped in.
"He'll be fine we promise."
Jenny didn't answer right away, but said,
"We'll, okay."
Jenny lifted her head a little.
"Let's go, Oncie."
"Alright, sis."

With that, they all loaded onto the wagon and Onceler slapped the reins against Melvin, and they steadily headed off, only, unknow to their knowledge, with Pipsqueak hiding in Jenny's bag.
Pipsqueak was excited. He was going to the fair with them. He never been to a fair before in his life, but he was more than excited to go and see. He was going to have plenty of fun!
