When they got back, Lorax, Chip, and the animals went over them. Lorax was a bit frantic with worry.
"Hey you all, glad that you are here, but we can't seem to find Pipsqueak anywhere. It seemed to disappear"-
He paused and the worry was replaced by a big smile, as he saw Pipsqueak asleep, tucked snuggly in Jenny's arms.
"Ah, there he is."
He went over and took Pipsqueak into his arms. Pipsqueak opened one eye and saw Lorax. He smiled sleepily and burrowed himself into Lorax's arm.
"Well, you see mustache, Pipsqueak has snuck with us to the fair, and we decided he would stay with us and have a fun day at the fair. He had a lot of fun, and even got a new deck of cards. We wished you and the other were there with us."
"I wish I was there to see him, too. He may be a sneaky little barbaloot, but I'm just glad he had fun with you all, Beanpole."
Pipsqueak smiled fondly and tired as he reflected on the awesome day he had. He had got to see and do many new things, and what much better is that he got to do that with his friends. Pipsqueak had a great day at the fair and he'll always remember that.
