Chapter 1: L is Real

A bored Child Prodigy is accidentally Sent an email with the files of an old cold case in it.

he figured his mom had convinced a Pro to throw him a bone somehow and solved it.

thus starting the chain of Events that Led Izuku Midoryia...L to Change the World

Izuku is bored, he can not stress enough how bored he is.

The most interesting part of middle school is hiding from all the bullies trying to beat him up, the work there itself provides no challenge it never did.

Izuku had after all graduated from High School when he was 6 and he just recently graduated from university for the 7th time. As a 13 year old.

The obvious question is then, why is Izuku bored in the class room of Aldera Middle school hoping no one notices him today?

The answer is simple, he has no Quirk. And in the world of Quirk's and Super powers, being one of the 20 odd percent of people who don't have one is all most people need to hear.

His mom had done her best to get him to test out of school, to do something meaningful, but after the third attempt the school board "Decided" he was cheating and would refuse to recognize the now 7 degrees he has. Online School did not ask for his Quirk Thankfully.

And that is the start, the set up if you will to L, a very bored Child Prodigy with no friends, sitting at home on a Sunday night, when his Mom texted him " Honey! I got a super special surprise for you! "

as if on cue, an email dropped into his In box, not his Normal SmallMight Account, but a throwaway he created a while ago for some project he finished and got bored of.

The email seemed to be from the Pro Hero Ingenium and was titled " Case Notes "

Izuku paused, was this a Mistake? Or the surprise Mom had mentioned? She did know he was bored and loved heroes. They probably threw him an easy case they already solved, like something for the make a wish foundation.

Izuku shrugged, not like he had anything better to do. He opened the Email and sighed, saying "thanks Mom, at least for the effort."

The case was painfully simple, even with just a glance at the photos shown, but at the very least he should write up his conclusions and all the evidence that made him come to it, after all he can't be rude.

Ingenium agency:

Ingenium did not expect a response so fast from the Bureau of Quirks, at least not at six o'clock on a Sunday, but half an hour after he sent the email he got one back.

The reply was not from the Bureau but from an address called "L For Justice."

And within was a simple message "thank you for allowing me to look into this Ingenium, I appreciate your trust in me. Even if it was a simple case, I'm sure you solved it long before you sent it my way, below are the conclusions I reached along with the evidence within the folder you sent to support them.

Below the text was a detailed breakdown of the evidence and an analysis the likes of which Ingenium had never seen, the Conclusion, the ID of the Perp, all the evidence as to why. It was insane, and made him feel like slamming his head onto his desk. He would need to get all of this verified of course, but he felt it in his bones.

This L whoever they were just solved a Cold Case in less than half an hour, just from the Evidence Folder.

Ingenium reread the note, L could be mocking him and his inability to solve this "easy case" a prank by another Pro? Or maybe he just genuinely stumbled on a diamond in the rough?
