Chapter 4: Case: Quirk Hunters

Summary:

Izuku stumbles on another case, talks to Uraraka about his life, and meets Midnight.

Izuku walked towards the school when a Hand landed on his shoulder, Uraraka said "Izuku we need to talk."

Izuku blushed "can it wait, you know until after school?"

Uraraka said simply "it's about L."

Izuku blushed harder "oh you game...want to swap tags?"

Uraraka held up her phone with the headline "What do we Know about L? The so-called world's greatest Detective."

Izuku snatched her phone away, closing the tab "not so loud."

Uraraka glared "why, everyone should know how great you are! All the lives you have saved, you're a hero!"

Izuku grabbed her shoulders "I'm a fraud, look the only reason they care, they ask for L's help is because they think I have super intelligence Quirk...like Nedzu."

Uraraka grumbled "You're probably smarter than Nedzu."

Izuku said "ask him his IQ score when you go to UA, but Uraraka, shouting about this is not going to do anything, all it takes is one person putting the pieces together, and L is done...and L is all I have Uraraka...please."

Uraraka looked up at him "you deserve more than this, hiding, waiting for your life to be over. You deserve to tell the world how amazing Izuku is."

Izuku shook his head "maybe in another life, another world that would be true...I'm sorry for yelling at you Ochacho, just the idea of losing L..." Izuku hung his head

Izuku looked at the school "2 months your off to UA, and well I don't know what I'm going to do..."

Uraraka touched his shoulder. "We will figure it out Izuku,together."

Izuku smiled at her "thank you."

After School:

Izuku walked home, what Uraraka said turning over in his head, he wished she was right, he had never wished he was more wrong in his life, but sadly he was sure he was right.

Izuku kicked a rock, grumbling "they control everything, just like they always said they would."

Izuku shook his head, adding "when someone tells you who they are, believe them."

Izuku chuckled "well I'm running out of a platitudes, maybe a nice Fuck Quirkism...to really round off this fun discussion."

Izuku burst out laughing shaking his head "fuck my life sucks."
