I, once again, turn around trying to catch a glimpse of anything, but there's nothing there. I continue on my way until I reach the park, where the oaks look like a bunch of tall columns. I turn once more, how many times will I do it again? To satisfy my curiosity, whether it is or not, I hide behind a tree to wait; I'm almost sure it's looking for me.

I peek my head out. I know it so well... There it is. A black Scottish terrier. By nature, it should be docile and affectionate, but apparently hating me is its only characteristic. It looks harmless from this perspective just moving its nose from side to side searching tree by tree, disappearing among them and reappearing. With some hesitation, I come out of my hiding place and return to the path. Anyway, sooner or later the dog will find me, it is preferable to take advantage of it's distraction than to regret it later.

I take refuge in my coat. Just in time, a man comes to my aid and runs in its direction; the terrier instinctively wags its tail with excitement as he approaches.

I relax my shoulders.

"What a little brat..." I say quietly as the owner finally appears. I wrinkle my nose at seeing how the dog licks his face and he gladly allows it.

"Who's a brat?" Another voice chimes in.

"Aaahs!" I exclaim, "why did you do that?"

I clutch my jacket to my chest to appease the fright.

"Who were you calling a brat?" he ignores my question, repeating his own.

How did he walk so fast? The pharmacy is not that close...

Both of us turn our attention to the scene of the man caressing the apparently domesticable devil canine. In these conditions, I can no longer say that I am afraid of it if the dog only behaves like this.

"Nobody..."

He points with his chin in the direction of the path I was supposed to take to get home.

"Do you want me to accompany you?"

It takes me longer to blink. So he came back for that?

"Oh, no, I'm fine like this."

"I insist."

His invitation makes me a little embarrassed.

"Oh boy... It's really not necessary."

"Oh... Truhna Cg Nivol."

Something in my brain clicks.

"What did you say?"

He seems to find it amusing. He holds my gaze for a moment until I end up with my eyes on the back of his neck. I blink and raise an eyebrow: did he really just turn around?

And he starts walking away. He says something in another language to then just leave?

I look towards where the dog and the owner are supposed to be, but in their place, I see their absence, only Tyler's footsteps getting farther and farther away can be heard. I frown and take a deep breath.
