The Hybrids of Team Crafted and Seto's Old Friend

Chapter 1

This is my First time actually posting a fanfiction I've written I hope you enjoy it as much as I do Writing it.

Seto's POV

It was a bright sunny morning only 2 months after my 18th birthday, and the hybrid war where humans hunted down hybrids and killed them because they thought they were dangerous was going on.

The sorcerers were also asked to help hunt and kill the hybrids because we have a way of sensing if someone is a hybrid, but there was a small band of sorcerers who fought with the hybrids my family was one of them. Only because our family was friends with a sorceress and she was married to a cat hybrid and they had a daughter.

That morning I decided I'd go see my friend even though people were in the village hunting down the hybrids today doing raids. "I hope she's up already I'd love to work on her magic with her since she is only 10," I said to myself as I walked through the little forest toward the hidden house.

As I approached the house I started to smell smoke. So I started running and what I found was horrifying the humans had found my friend Mariana, her father Ryan and mother the High Sorceress Celianna of the Amethyst Crown.

They were burning the house down and Mariana was kneeling on the ground next to her father, her light blond hair like his swaying in the breeze coving her silver eyes, her white cat ears like his pointed in anger tail swishing like crazy as her father lay dying from being stabbed. Her mother trying to protect her young daughter while I hid behind a tree to scared to come out afraid I'd be killed for protecting a hybrid.

As I watched her mother removed her crown and gave it to Mariana as she was crying. "Oh my god, you only give your crown to your child if you know you will die," I said under my breath watching as my friends mother charged at the humans with an enchanted amethyst sword that she always had. As I stood there in awe at her fighting skills, she was around 200 years old she knew how to fight well; I turned away as I saw her get stabbed through the chest.

Then looked back as I heard screaming to see the humans dragging Mariana away, I ran out of my hiding spot and screamed "Kitty!" that was the nickname I always called her. She screamed back "Sety!" as I started running toward her I felt a hard smack the back of the head and blacked out. The last thing I saw before blacking out was Mariana flailing between two guys with flames in her hands screaming at them.
