The Hybrids of Team Crafted and Seto's Old Friend

Chapter 19

Sorry for such a long hiatus I had to deal with college for the last semester, but now with the last week of christmas break and some free time I have time finally to get back to writing. I would formally like to thank those who have given me characters and if you want to give me an OC to use still, feel free to comment it below and I will add them to the story I am looking for quite a bit of evil hybrid characters atm. I will hopefully this coming semester have more free time and will be able to write and post more often. So without further ado on with the story.

Quintin's POV

It had been a 2 days and not much had happened Jerome was healing up nicely after suffering a concussion and a few broken ribs; Mitch had barely left his side in that time, but when he wasn't with him he was with Mariana and Seto who were trying to train him to use magic since they now knew he was the new High Sorcerer of the golden crown. Me on the other hand, I was trying to get up the courage to ask Katrina to be my girlfriend I had decided I'd go pick some flowers in the field not far from the mansion.

As I was picking roses and tulips thinking on how I would ask her since she was so pretty but also scary. That was what attracted me to her was her love of explosions and healing since I was a doctor and liked TNT. I heard something in the trees just a few feet from me as I was picking the last rose.

As I looked up I noticed two glowing eyes staring at me and a butter sword in a hand. As the figure walked out I saw who it was. "Sky, it's me Quintin come on bud snap out of it," I shouted backing away toward the trees that led back to the base. "I'm not your bud," he shouted as he charged at me, I turned to run but he got to me first and sliced my side. I decided to use a bubble attack that I knew would give me enough time to get away so I blasted him with bubbles and ran. I could hear him behind me chasing me, but I just kept running till I saw the mansion then I booked it through the door.

Seto's POV

"Guys we have a problem," shouted Quinten running into the house bleeding from his side pointing outside making all of us down in the kitchen and living room look outside. Outside on the path just in front of the trees stood Skybrine wielding a bloody butter sword, "guys we need to try to break the spell on him while we can," I shout grabbing Mariana's hand and running to the door where Quinten had just run in everyone heard this and those who were in there rooms came running down the stairs weapons in hand.

We all stood in the doorway as Skybrine saw us he shouted, "Oh look my team have all come to die you are the one thing in the way of me and my father, after that little fight with Misty and my new General and his team we can't wait any longer to let you get stronger then you already are," he shouted making his eyes glow brighter sending lightning shocks at us.

"Everyone behind me now," I shout making my eyes glow purple and making a shield around us that sent his spell right back at him making him go flying back into a tree. "Seto we have a problem," shouted Taylor pointing to the trees where a shadow was moving slowly toward Skybrine they were coming from the right walking toward him. "Guys get ready to fight I think he has backup," I said as the person came out of the shadows. I noticed the person had on a long almost ground length hooded cloak it was blue with an orange hood they looked to be five foot eight and I thought about it for a second that if they were on his team they would have moved fast not snuck around to get to him.

Just then the person pointed their hand at Skybrine and started singing. "Oh my dear son, I will not let you turn your heart to what it's not." Does anyone else hear that singing?" asked Ty making sure he wasn't the only one hearing it, "Yes," everyone said listening to the woman sing that was now starting to glow blue. "Your heart is pure, your soul is clear, remove the dark that controls you, come back to me my son, don't let the dark make you what you're not." Skybrine was now standing up glaring at her looking ready to send her flying as she raised her hands in a X pattern, "Let the light return, clear the darkness out and become my loving son once more, not the monster you now are," she shouted about to send the spell at him but before she could Skybrine interrupted her.

"Shut up woman you will not return the light to me," he shouted blasting her with a spell sending her flying back toward the mansion where she smashed into the wall next to us. It was at that point I knew who she was.
