The Hybrids of Team Crafted and Seto's Old Friend

Chapter 2

I already finished writing chapter 2 so I figured let's upload it tonight and sorry to those who wanted to see what happened to Seto after he got knocked out but we are skipping many years ahead

Almost 200 year time skip

Seto's POV

I woke up thinking to myself it's quite for once. I sat on the edge of my bed in my purple night gown in the team crafted house thinking it's a week till my 218th birthday, and today is Mariana's 210th birthday if she was still alive.

We always celebrated our birthdays in the middle of the week so we could have a giant party for both of us.

To this day I still hated myself for the fact that I couldn't save my best friend from dying. "Why? Why was I too weak to protect you Kitty?" I said sitting on my bed crying like I have done every year on this day since I lost her.

A knock on the door brings me back to reality "Hey Seto, come down for breakfast before Mitch eats all the pancakes," said Ty. "Ok, I'll be down in a minute," I said getting up and changing into my sorcerer robes and grabbing my silver crown that my father gave me before he died and putting it on.

I walk out of my room thinking to myself out loud "maybe I should tell them that I'm not really 17 but 217."

I shook my head thinking no then they will hate me. They will know I was around when the hybrid war happened and the guys didn't know I had the ability to tell if someone's a hybrid, but they know that sorcerers were part of the people to hunt down hybrids. Problem is half of team crafted are hybrids and I know who they are.

I walked down the stairs debating if I should tell them about me or not. As I walked into the kitchen Mitch and Jerome looked up at me and noticed my puffy eyes and tear stained face. "Hey dood," Mitch said "why were you crying," asks Jerome and Mitch in unison getting up to come give me a hug.

I look at the floor thinking then decided I'd tell them. "I was crying cause today is my old friend Mariana's birthday, and she died years ago, and I miss her vary much her whole family was killed in front of me I was too scared to come out of hiding till the men were dragging her away." I said crying my eyes out.

Mitch's POV

Seto was crying about an old friend he lost and I was surprised he'd never talked about this before. As I was thinking I heard Seto say "that was almost 200 years ago when I lost her."

I was dumbfounded by what he had just said and as I could tell everyone else was too, the look on Sky's face said it all he was confused and devastated like everyone that Seto had lied about his age, but sky looked also slightly pissed off too so did Ty and Jason and a few others.

Sky was the first to break the silence, "so wait are you saying you're a lot older then you told us before," said sky. Seto just nodded and said "I knew you would be pissed at me for lying especially since you now know I was around during the hybrid war," Seto said smacking his head off the table quickly in shame.

 I looked on confused as to why it mattered that he was around during the war. Then it hit me when he said it "I'm sorry ok and by the way I can sense hybrids and a bunch of you are ether hybrids or demons, I'm sorry I lied all this time about me and my past," I tried to comfort him and was wondering who among us was a hybrid or demon. As I leaned down to give him a hug all I heard was sky shout, at Seto to get out.
