Schools now starting and Bruce hasn't spoken to Vance ever since "what happened" by the time vance was sober he probably had remembered and at the first day of school back he would for sure say he didn't want to be friends anymore (Vance would say that in a different meaning 😦)
Vance just lied there in his bed, jittery but not wanting to go to school, it was around 6:18 and school started at 8. Bruce wouldn't avoid him right? Should he even tell him? His feelings have been hiding for the longest and Vance didn't want to hide it anymore.
Bruce would avoid him.
Almost all day at school Bruce was zigzagging his way out of Vance's presence. The hardest part was in one of his classes vance sat behind him.
Once the bell rang Bruce shoved his things in his bag and ran for the door. And went to the bathroom and hid to see if he lost vance.
He didn't.
"I know your in here.."
Bruce stayed silent in the stall
"Why are you avoiding me?"
Bruce knew if he kept hiding it would be continuos avoiding. So he unlocked the stall and came out.
"I need to tell you something." Vance spoke
Bruce already knew what was coming. He didn't want to hear those words but he had now choice
"I don't want to be friends anymore...I" Vance couldn't get the words out of his mouth
*ring*
"I have to go.." Bruce could feel his face heating up.
"Wait" Vance spoke in a louder tone
"I'm gonna be late..I already know what you wanted to say.."
Bruce left the bathroom and went to his next class.
How could he be so stupid? Why didn't you word it another way? Why didn't you tell him?
Vance was honestly surprised bruce didn't see he had a big crush on him.
Once school ended Bruce walked straight home, but Vance caught up.
"What do you want.."
"To talk" Vance walked beside him
"Well I don't want to" Bruce mumbled
Vance grabbed Bruce's hand "please?"
Bruce could feel his face blushing, how could he still have a crush on him knowing he already said he didn't want to be friends?
"Fine..not here..out in public. At home" Bruce didn't want passing people to see.
Once they got to Bruce's house Vance was greeted by Bruce's mother
"Oh hello Vance" she smirked at Bruce
"Mom.."
"Sorry sorry, make sure to keep the door open"
"Mom!" Bruce was embarrassed
They both went upstairs and to his room, he closed the door once he knew his mom couldn't see.
"What..what do you want to tell me"
"Do you want to go out? Not in a friend way. I know you probably don't like me but I like you, and not in a friend way" Vance's face was a tomato
Bruce was astonished, the Vance hopper, standing in front of him like a love struck girl?
Bruce didn't say anything. He just hugged Vance and Vance hugged him back.
"Does this mean you like me?"
"Shut up.." bruce laughed softly
After it got late Vance had to go home.
"See you at school tomorrow" Vance shouted before finally walking home
"Did you tell him?" Bruce's mother spoke
"He told me"
"You guys finally got together?" Amy asked
"How do you know we did?" Bruce asked
"I heard through your door" Amy giggled

Bruce told Finney and Robin that him and Vance were dating. The looks on their faces was like they had just seen a murder
"Actually?" Finney asked
"You not joking?" Robing added
"No in fact I'm going to his house today" Bruce told them
The bell rung and they said there goodbyes to each other before splitting up to go to their own classes.
After school finally ended Bruce walked home with Vance to his house, even if they were dating now Bruce still felt butterflies every time.
They unlocked the door and went straight up to Vance's room.
The door shut and Bruce was greeted with kisses all over his face
"We just got here" Bruce smiled
"I know, Im just glad I can kiss you freely now"
(Gay?‼️🤯)
Vance grabbed Bruce's waist and pulled him in, still pushing his lips onto Bruce's.
They finally stopped to catch breath and Vance put his hands on Bruce's face, kissing him again.
Bruce was happy, he never thought Vance would actually like him back, he was glad they became friends, he was glad they became boyfriends (homos 🫢) he was glad they met.
Vance was happy, he was glad he didn't scare him off, and he finally had someone, he was glad they met.
The "making out" was interrupted when Vance's mother came in.
"Oh, am I interrupting something?" Vance's mother giggled
"Mom" Vance spoke in an embarrassed tone
"Hello Bruce, I hope you treat my son well" his mother spoke
"Yes, I will ms.hopper" Bruce replied
Vance's mother left, but kept the door open.
"Sorry.." Vance spoke
"It's ok" bruce laughed softly
It got late and they both got in bed since it was the weekend, they cuddled, laughed and talked before falling asleep.
