Das Gehirn is the entire kingdom consists of and is as big as its one city: Hauptplatine. This is the city one visits in the dreams of feverish sickness that everyone has at least once in their lives. The city itself is made up of houses and shops of pure gold, adorned with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires, the roads paved out of pure silver. This is where the gods themselves lived with each other. The city is huge, with houses as tall as the sky, yet one feature always sticks out to those who come here in their dreams. The gigantic library tower, with hundreds of floors reaching up into the sky and hundreds of floors digging down into the earth. Tomes stuck in the bookshelves of the library have pages made out paper so thin, one can see their hand when looking at it, and he ink used to write this knowledge as black as the inside of a black hole. It is said that the secrets to the universe itself and the reasons to live are within these tomes, eternally lying within the library. They await the arrival of humanity, so they may begin living within the image they were made in.
The mountains surrounding the valley reached sky high. The peaks almost blended in with the clouds with the amount of snow covering them. The valley was empty of any vegetation besides the grass that the group was laying on, surrounded by blue iris'. The Soldier shot up from unconsciousness, breaking from the nightmare he was having. His short, round face stuck in a wide-eyed look of panic. He looked around and saw four others sleeping peacefully on the ground. He checked every pocket of his green overalls to see what he still had on him. He couldn't even remember how he had gotten here. The last thing he remembered was arriving back home in his apartment. He was scheduled for a surgery the next day and wasn't allowed to eat that day because of it, though he wasn't hungry at the moment. Now he was............. in a valley? How did he get here? The valley smelled of a cold spring morning. The fresh air blew softly blew against him as wind. He noticed 4 others laying on the ground, and tried waking one up, to no avail. He runs his hand through his hair, trying to think of what to do next. He had lost his apartment keys, though that was the last of his worries at the moment. He had forgotten to take his medication when he arrived home........... right? Did he? The next to awake from his slumber was The Spy. The Spy opened his eyes as he continued laying on the floor, observing his surroundings while not moving a muscle. Once he noticed that the only other conscious person there was a short, black-haired man, he sat up. He adjusted the plague doctor mask he had on and checked his expensive, black leather, reefer coat for any damage.
"And who might I have the pleasure of meeting............. wherever we are?" He asked The Soldier with his cockney accent.
"Don't ask me, I ain't got a clue myself. You not able remembering something yourself?" The Soldier asked with a southern accent.
The Spy tried remembering how he got here. The last thing he remembered was arriving back at his apartment. He was going to have surgery the next day and wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything but water. He preferred taking his medicine with a sip of tea, but the doctor even forbade that. Was he able to take his medicine before he got here? He couldn't remember.
"You go anything on ya that might help us?" The Soldier asked.
The Spy just shrugged, shaking his head. The Soldier looked at him with disappointment.
"So we ain't getting any further with just you, I reckon."
"Have you tried waking these people, perhaps?"
"I sure tried, but they ain't wakin'."
The Spy still tried waking up the person next to him, but also to no avail.
"See? I didn't lie." The Soldier said with a scowl on his face.
The Spy rolled his eyes and got up, not that The Soldier could see it.
