The rain was coming down heavily, and it seemed like the whole world was washed away in a deluge of water. Jessie and James were standing on the porch, looking at the storm. She was feeling a strange mix of emotions; she was scared of thunder and lightning, but there was also something else there that she couldn't quite put her finger on.
Suddenly, James stepped closer and grabbed her hand. His touch was electric, sending a shiver down her spine and causing her heart to race. Without a word, he pulled her closer and leaned in, staring into her eyes.
"Jessie," he purred lustfully.
"Yes?" she replied, her voice barely audible over the sound of the rain.
"I need you."
Then, without another word, he cupped her face and kissed her passionately and fiercely. Their lips moved together in perfect harmony as the rain poured down around them. The feeling was overwhelming, and Jessie felt like she was flying. The kiss seemed to last an eternity until they finally pulled away breathlessly.
"Wow," James whispered, looking into her eyes.
Jessie smiled. "Yeah."
They stood there for a moment, just looking at each other, until finally, they both burst out laughing. The rain was still pouring down around them, but it felt like sunshine. The two of them stood there, in the pouring rain, for what felt like an eternity, and for the first time in a long time, Jessie felt truly happy.
