After a few weeks, Parker and Zach came over for dinner. Per Robin's request. Quinn was in the kitchen cooking when Zach knocked on the door. Robin walked over and opened it, giving Zach and Parker a big hug.
Kai came running over, incredibly excited to meet the new people. Zach crouched down and started to talk to Kai. Parker smiles and ruffles Zach's hair before turning to Robin.
"Your house is beautiful."
Robin smiles, "Thank you. Would you like anything to drink? Some water, a beer?"
"I'll take some water."
Robin nods and walks into the kitchen. She puts her hand on Quinn's waist. "Company." She says before she gets some water for Parker. Quinn finishes cooking and puts the towel she was using over her shoulder before she walks out into the living room.
As soon as she walks out Parker notices the bow necklace that he'd thrown on the ground during their fight. His eyes widen as he realizes Quinn kept it and didn't leave it in that house after all.
"Hey you kept the necklace." He said, a small smile on his face.
Quinn nods, "I wanted to give it back to you but I couldn't find a good time." She takes it off and hands it back to him, smiling. Parker carefully takes the necklace and puts it back on. "Nice ring." She mumbles, doing a double take as she realizes what that ring is.
"Holy shit! Nice ring!" Her jaw drops as she sits down to get a closer look at it. "So you're engaged now huh?"
"Yup. Made that official a month ago." Zach grins and Parker gives him a look.
"That's amazing!" Robin comes over and hugs Parker tightly. Parker hugs her back, a huge smile on his face.
After dinner, Quinn goes to put Kai to bed. Parker turns to look at Robin.
"How's it been with Quinn?" He asks, taking a sip of his beer as he leans against Zach.
"Good! She's definitely working on some things but I think now that she knows you're working on forgiving her she's going to be doing a lot better." Robin smiles, setting her beer down.
"Did she...ever say she regretted it?" He looks down at his beer.
"She did. Lots of times. She felt really really bad about it and she knew she fucked up which was the worst part."
"Oh..."
"I think she thought if she ever saw you again you'd hate her."
"I mean...I did for a long time...But she's...redeeming herself. I'm going to give her a second try once I'm ready."
Quinn walks downstairs a few seconds later with a board game in hand. "I uh...found monopoly."
Zach groans, "Not again."
