when i was writing it, i just wanted to create a friendly scene of friends talking. they are teenagers. i think. and its cringe, so im sorry if you read this
They were at James' house today. It was a Saturday, and surprisingly sunny for February. Lamb was sitting on James' desk, after having pushed all his pens and whatnot off it, and then being made to pick it all up. Danny was sitting in James' desk chair, his legs crossed. Frazer and James were sitting on the bed. At Frazer's previous joke, the other three had laughed uproariously.
"Just like that?" Lamb asked, steadying themself but unable to hold back giggles of joy.
"Yeah! And she took it seriously, she took me back to her room afterwards!" Frazer replied, smiling at his friends' reaction to his tale.
"That is unbelievable." Danny said lightly. "She didn't really do that, did she?"
"She did! What do you want, pictures? She wouldn't let me." He was grinning ear to ear. His joke made Danny chuckle a little.
After more unimportant stories of Frazer's experiences with women, the conversation topic changed to where they would be going that day.
"Is the river off the table?" Lamb suggested, a slight pleading tone in his voice.
"You always want to go there." It was James who said this. "Yes, off the table."
Lamb frowned. He'd been looking forward to that.
"What about the forest?" Danny asked, mainly directed at Frazer. "Or that building?"
"Daniel will be pissed if he knew we'd been there when it was empty." The boy had replied, smoothing his uncombed hair back.
