"She won't come back." She said softly.
"How do you know that." She looked at her in wonder.
Of course she knew it.
Freen had texted Saint before she entered the room. And she specifically told him not to disturb Becky but show her Nam's true self.
"Didn't the guy say that he will bring the woman in her mother because she's been looking for her for almost sometime now?" Freen's mouth tilted upwards slightly at the corners.
"Oh." She said. The look of awareness did not fade from her face.
The waitress knocked on the door. She serve the wine and food that Nam had ordered.
Freen raised her brows as she looked at the bottles of wine in the table.
"Did you order them?" She looked at Becky.
"Not me." She quickly shook her head. "Ms. Nam did. You can cancel them."
She frowned slightly. Why did Nam order so much wine for no reason? It looks like something had happened but Becky was unwilling to tell her.
"No." She said to the waiters. "These drinks are on Nam Orntara's account."
She and Nam were both regular customer here and all the waitress recognized them so, they consented to it immediately.
"Oh my." She couldn't help but laugh.
With this smile, the tension in the room eased immediately.
Her face softened a little and she looked at her surprised. "Is this so funny?"
She nodded. "You and Nam."
"Nam Orntara."
"Yeah, You're supposed to be friends, aren't you?" she said amused. "But you actually play tricks on each other?"
"Who hasn't had a few bad friends?" She was more or less defenseless.
"That's right." She agreed and nodded. "My bad friends hurt me."
"They hurt you?" Her eyes flickered.
"It wasn't really hurting." she quickly explained.
"Mmm," She said and looked at her gently. "Aren't you afraid of me anymore?"
She was instantly speechless.
She was a little afraid of Freen. After all, she was like her Nemesis and she could do nothing to her.
But just now, when she saw that Freen set Nam up, she suddenly felt that although Freen was very bad, she was at least a normal person and was not so terrifying.
But she didn't want to further her relationship with Freen at all.
She clutched her fork, exhaled irritably and ate her food in silence.
Freen was helpless. Becky's disgust towards her was more dreadful than she had imagined.
But it didn't matter. She could take her time.
After dinner, Becky reluctantly got into Freen's car.
"If you don't want to go, I can take you back to the school. Shall we visit her some other day?" Freen proposed.
She thought it might be a good idea, that way she would have another reason to ask her out again.
"No." she gritted her teeth and said. As if she were to die a martyr's death. "I did something wrong and I'll have to face it sooner or later. Let's go today!"
When they arrived at the hospital, Becky bought a fruit basket from the gift shop.
Upon reaching Risa's room, she put the fruit basket on the table and apologized nervously and tensed. "Ms. Risa, I'm really sorry for what happened the other day."
Risa was very surprised.
Her injuries were just minor. But Freen insisted that she be hospitalized. She didn't understand. It turned out that Freen was trying to find out who had beaten her up and get her to apologize to her?
The president was really kind to her employees. Risa was deeply touched.
She didn't forget that this woman had intended to beat up their president. She must help the prevent her anger!
"I remember it wasn't you who has beaten me" Risa said coldly. "Why are you apologizing?"
"I was involved in beating you, Ms. Risa. I was the mastermind behind it all." Becky said awkwardly. "In fact, my target was not you that day. It was all a misunderstanding."
"Misunderstanding?" Risa kept her poker face. "If it was a misunderstanding, were you right to hit someone? You are young, but why are you trying to solve problems with your fists? you are so deceitful to apologize."
Freen cough a little and looked at Risa sternly.
Risa was a little confused. Why did Freen seem unhappy as she helped her reprimand Becky Armstrong?
"I-I d-dont mind." Risa stuttered for long.
Freen face softened a little. She nodded to Risa. "Becky, Risa isn't mean. Look, she accepted your apology, right Risa?"
"Yes Ms. President!" Risa replied quickly.
Becky was still a little apologetic and she continued asking. "Ms. Risa, I understand how angry you are. After all, you were beaten up for no reason. Shall I come and visit you each day until you are discharged?"
Risa was shocked. She had felt her body stiffen with the cold glare from Freen's eyes! How dare she let Becky come to visit her every day? Wasn't she tempting fate?
"No, no," She said quickly. "I suffered just a minor injuries, I'll be out of the hospital tomorrow. You don't need to come!"
"Ms. Risa, are you still angry?" Becky was startled for a bit.
"She isn't angry," Freen said. "She just wants to have a rest. Becky, wait outside the door for me. I have to talk to her about work."
"I'm not angry, really!" Risa echoed her words.
"Then I will leave."
After she walked out of the room, Risa asked with a little curiosity. "President, this is-"
"My future wife." Freen cut Risa's word.
Risa coughed and choked.
Oh gosh! Did she hear that right? So, it was true that the honourable Lady Freen was into girls.
Was it the future wife of the pre6who had just apologized to her?
Fortunately, she didn't insist that she apologize or she would have been the one tempting fate.
But why did Freen suddenly like this girl? She never joked. If she said it was her future wife, it must be.
Hold on, Becky was the Becky Armstrong the president had ordered Heng to looked for?
Risa suddenly understood. It looks like Freen really liked Becky.
"By the way, don't eat the fruit." Freen said. "I'll have it taken away later."
Risa almost burst into tears, thinking that Freen believe she was looking at Becky in a romantic way.
She had thought Freen was paying attention to her when she insisted that she need to be hospitalized. Who knew that Freen only wanted to chase a girl? Besides, She was so obsessed with her that she wasn't even willing to leave her the fruit basket.
Becky walked out of the hospital and flagged down a passing taxi. Just as Becky was about to get in to the car, a hand reach out and closed the door.
