Today, she felt orange.
Today, she couldnt stand anybody. With her newfound barrier, all words bounced off her, wether good or bad. All she wanted was to be left alone.
Today, she met the stares of dozens of eyes. Why were they looking at her like that? She was standing up for herself. They all enabled this to happen. They have no right to stare. Damn them to hell and back if they stare.
Today, she was dangerous. She felt like she was balancing on a plank, high above a canyon. One wrong move and disaster will surely strike. But at the same time, wouldn't it be her fault she got into that position?
Today, she couldnt handle it.
Exasperated, she cried out. She asked them all, why didn't you care for me before this point? Why do you only help after instead of during? Do you only pity me? Is that why? Answer me, please! Answer!!
They stared once more. But, this time was different. It had an certain undertone that, once she managed to pick it out, she became utterly silent.
Today, she felt orange.
