Today, she felt yellow.
Today, she was in disbelief. Did the rest of them really feel the same? They sided with the beast, instead of the one sent to slay it? Or is it more complicated than that?
Today, she felt sick. Nobody dared to interract with her. As much as she wanted loneliness, in the back of her mind, there was a nagging voice. It whispered, where did it all go wrong?
Today, she fought against herself. She thought it was a question. She told the voice it started with the others. But it corrected her. It whispered, Are you sure this isnt your fault? Was your reaction necissary? Would things have been better if you let it eat you alive, in ignorant silence?
Today, she couldnt handle it.
She sat somewhere far away, and quietly begged for something to happen, something to grab onto, something to distract her from the current moment.
Unanswered, she plunged deep into her thoughts. The words her mind created were worse than anything anyone else could say. She trembled. Things would have been better if she let it eat her alive, in ignorant silence.
Today, she felt yellow.
