Today, she felt green.
Today, she felt sick. She wished she didn't do it. This could have been solved differently. It could have been a peaceful, private talk, but instead, it was a public scene, reaffirming many other object's views.
Today, she pretended it didnt happen. Wrong or right, its what she did. For each person that walked by, she would wave tenderly, or shoot them a small smile. Maybe both. They'd all scoff. How offensive she was.
Today, during the challenge, she wanted to prove herself. She dropped down from space and made herself useful, casting the Twinkle's burden onto another team. Surely, her members will understand, right? Surely they'll notice her good doings. Please?
Today, she was dead wrong.
Not only was her team oblivious to her intention, her victim refused to listen when she tried to appologise. It was just in the competition, she wanted to say. It wasn't personal. And she meant it.
She was sure everybody was out of sight when she collapsed. She laid there in the grass, falling apart, begging for this to end. Her cries were not in vain, for they landed on eavesdropping ears.
Today, she felt green.
