CLOSED.

Solomon's heart sunk when he read those words again. It had been a couple of weeks since the bookstore had been closed. It seemed a little off though because whenever he came by it was either closed or the owner would greet him. He wondered where Yuri had vanished. Neither did she reply to his texts, nor did she respond to them. He kept walking lost in his thoughts when the coffee shop owner next door called him.

"Excuse me, are you searching for Yuri?", the lady asked. Solomon nodded in affirmation. The lady smiled and said," She must be at the Yakhyeon church. Today's Sunday so she might be there her exams got over a few days ago. She usually goes there. Kind of an introvert." So, there he was standing outside the church thinking whether or not he should evade her private space. But he was too desperate to see her so without any second thoughts he entered the church.

The church had calm and pure aura. Solomon's eyes searched for the girl until he finally set his eyes on the girl's figure sitting all alone on the benches in front of the choir stand. He moved gleefully towards her until he was stopped by muffled sobs. "Why does it always happen with me?" the girl questioned herself still sobbing. It was the first time Solomon had seen her cry. What on earth broke her so hard that she has reduced to such state??  Solomon thought to himself. He wanted to go away and let her sip into her own solitude, but something stopped him, and he sat a few benches away from her and listened as the weeping girl poured her heart into the soft chiming bells of the church.

"Why do I always have suffer like this?? Why, why me?? I try my best to make her happy, but she never really understands me and my efforts. Instead of being my support why does she always demean me????" Yuri yelled in agony as Solomon listened to all of it with silence. She continued," It always feels like walking on eggshells around her. Am always afraid of saying something wrong and upsetting her. It's not my fault that dad divorced her. It was always her nagging nature which drove him away from us and slowly killing me". Solomon clenched his jaw trying his best to keep quiet.

"MAYBE I SHOULD JUST GO AND DIE SOMEWHERE. NO ONE LOVES ME ANYWAY!!!!!"she screamed with her head in her hands. This was it Solomon could no longer contain himself. He stood up from his place and marched towards her.

"It's not true. Look around you there are a lot of people who love you. Don't give up so easily". Yuri looked up to see the owner of the voice. She was puzzled to see Solomon standing before her. Did he hear everything? No way. How did reach her???  Questions started flooding in her mind and the first think that came out of her mouth was," Why are you here? Was it fun listening to my pathetic life?". She snapped at him. She was too embarrassed to let someone hear her story. She would rather pretend to a happy-go-lucky person but deep down she never wanted people to see her real face. The one which had all of her life's sorrows written on them.

"It's not important how I reached here. You need to stop thinking such bullshit" Solomon yelled at her not caring about the consequences. "It's none of ur business" was the only thing Yuri said before walking away from him. Solomon wasn't going to let this slide easily. He followed her out. It was raining and Yuri nonchalantly opened her umbrella and started walking. Nevertheless, he followed her in the rain not quite caring about getting drenched. He held her arm and turned her around abruptly.

"You need to share your sorrow with at least someone. You can't keep running away every time someone tries to read you and your emotions" Yuri glared at him trying her best not to tear up. She wondered why this guy was so possessive of her and her feelings. "You tell first, why do u care what happens to me? You do u think you are?", she questioned him. Solomon stood there quietly not being able to answer her. Yuri scoffed at his silence and walked away.

As she was walking away, Solomon looked in her direction and mumbled to himself, " How am not supposed to care about you when I like you so much......"
