Y/N POV
"Are you sure it's okay if we stay here?"
I asked for the hundredth time as Daki tucked the covers against my body. She had brought me to her brother's room. Gyutaro was the only one in this room since everyone was too afraid to share a room with him. The only downside was there were only two beds in this room.
"If the teachers won't give us a new room then will just have to stay here" Daki had argued with the teachers for hours but they still wouldn't let us move rooms so Daki solved the problem herself "Would you rather be back there with those girls? I promise my brother won't do anything. He may look like your average punk but he has a soft spot for girls in crises"
Daki sent Gyutaro a sharp stare as he sat on the other bed in the room "Isn't that right brother"
Gyutaro just rolled his eyes at his sister's remark before speaking "What the hell ever. Where are you even going to sleep, sis?"
"I am fine with the floor-"
"No-" I interrupted her "You can share my bed it's big enough for the both of us"
A grin stretched across Daki's face "You want to sleep with me Y/n"
I couldn't help but blush at her comment. My red face made Daki laugh as she gently pat my head.
"Thanks Y/n I would love to sleep with you but I'll go grab us some food first" After Daki's other embarrassing comment she left me alone with her brother
I had never been left alone with Gyutaro. It was awkward we both were trying to avoid eye contact with each other. I was staring at the blanket as if I was reading a novel while he sat on his bed flipping threw the pages of a manga. At less, he wasn't hitting on me like every other guy I knew.
"Don't-" Gyutaro started to speak causing me to jump "-don't let Muzan see how close you are with Daki. She is all I have left I can't let anything happen to her."
"I don't want anything to happen to her either" was all I could say back
Gyutaro finally looked at me. There was a softness to his harsh face that showed his love for his sister. "She likes you a lot but-" he paused and stopped what he was about to say it was easy to see he was trying to be gentle with me "I know what type of person Muzan is even if it makes me sick to work for him it's the only way I can pay mine and my sister's bill. I have tried to find honest work but no one wants to hire me with a face like this-"
"I would hire you"
Gyutaro just laughed at my statement "I see why she likes you"
Why did him saying Daki liked me make my face heat up?
"I told her to stay away from you but she didn't listen to me. I only said that to keep her safe-"
"Gyutaro" he stopped speaking from my interruption "I get it. You want to protect her too"
