Here is a story about Bruce adopting another child... Which ends up being... Well. You'll see ;)
***
In the heart of Gotham City, a young girl named Y/n found herself abandoned on the cold streets. It was a fateful night when Bruce Wayne, Gotham's philanthropist billionaire and the Dark Knight himself, stumbled upon her. Unable to ignore the innocence and vulnerability in her eyes, Bruce decided to take her in and give her a home at Wayne Manor.
At first, Y/n seemed like any other ordinary little girl. Bruce's wards, Dick Grayson , Jason Todd, Tim Drake, welcomed her warmly. Hisbiological son, Damian, wasn't that thrilled but he never is about anything. Overall they welcomed her warmly. But as the days turned into weeks, peculiar incidents began to unfold.
Y/n's innocent facade slowly started to crack, revealing a mischievous glint in her eyes. She seemed to have an uncanny ability to push everyone's buttons, making them question their sanity. She terrorized the members of the Batfamily with her pranks, pranks so well-planned and executed that they bordered on diabolical. She would swap Dick's Nightwing suit with ridiculous outfits, leaving him bewildered and embarrassed during patrols.
"Can we give her back? I thought demon spawn was worse, but this one is not a demon spawn but like a Mini Joker!" Jason exclaimed one day, exasperated and annoyed.
Damian, who was fiercely competitive and couldn't stand being outdone, was equally frustrated. "Agreed. This insufferable child has no place among us. Father should have never brought her here."
Even Alfred, the ever-patient butler, couldn't escape Lily's antics. She managed to serve him tea mixed with hot sauce, leaving him spluttering and flustered.
The situation escalated further when Y/n made Dick cry. She had disguised herself as a masked criminal during one of Dick's solo outings as Nightwing, only to reveal her identity while laughing hysterically. The emotional turmoil it caused Dick was too much to bear.
As the days passed, Tim started to distance himself from the Manor, finding excuses to be away whenever Y/n was around. He preferred the dangers of Gotham's streets over dealing with the little trickster.
Seeing her siblings suffer and being unable to grasp the reason behind it all, Damian finally decided that enough was enough. He gathered the rest of the boys, and they devised a plan to rid themselves of Y/n. Working together like a well-oiled machine, they executed their scheme to perfection, and Y/n was left with no choice but to leave Wayne Manor.
Unaware of their intentions, Bruce returned home to find Y/n gone and his other children looking somber and guilty. Anger flickered in his eyes, demanding an explanation. As the boys confessed, Bruce's rage simmered and then exploded like a volcano.
"What have you done? She was just a child!" he thundered, his heart torn between his duty as Batman and his affection as a father.
Tim, who had returned at this critical moment, tried to explain their perspective. "Bruce, she wasn't just a child; she was like a Mini Joker, terrorizing us all! We had no other choice."
Bruce struggled with conflicting emotions, but deep down, he still believed in redemption and giving people second chances. He realized that maybe he had been too busy with his crime-fighting duties to truly understand Y/n's struggles and her need for attention.
In the end, Bruce decided to track down Y/n and understand the reasons behind her actions. Through heartfelt conversations and shared experiences, he discovered the true extent of her loneliness and desire to be acknowledged. Bruce saw a glimmer of hope, a chance to guide her away from the path of darkness.
Bruce welcomed Y/n back to Wayne Manor, but this time, he made a conscious effort to give her the love, attention, and guidance she needed. Over time, Y/n's mischievous pranks diminished, replaced by genuine laughter and camaraderie with her newfound family.
The Batfamily learned the importance of empathy and understanding, realizing that even the most challenging individuals could be saved with compassion and care. And as Y/n's heart warmed to the love surrounding her, the darkness that once threatened to consume her began to recede, replaced by the light of a family that accepted her, quirks and all.
