Gasp filled the entrance of the Spellman mortuary as the infamous Nicolette Spellman walked through the front door. Aunt Zelda looked lost for words. I wouldn't quite blame the lady. My physical Features changed for the best. My nappy hair was now silkily rested just above my buttocks. And My face and body were even more sharp."It has been far too long, my dear Nicolette." Aunt Zelda exclaimed through glossy eyes while she embraced me in a very motherly hug. I always felt comfort around my Aunt Zelda. We always had the same output in situations. She is the closest thing to a mother I have.
She guided me through the house as if I hadn't lived there for a decade. We ultimately ended up in the living room where Aunt Hilda, Sabrina, And Ambrose sat. They all seemed anxious.
I took my rounds and hugged them all. I can't remember the last time we were all together.
After I signed my name in the Book of the Beast, my life became consumed by knowledge. I stayed away from them for a bit to focus on my studies at the Academy of unseen arts.
It was the only way I could ensure I was seen as a valuable witch in the eyes of the coven.
"Well don't just stand there cuz take a seat." Ambrose chimed as I took a seating next to Aunt Zelda. Her vanilla scent engulfed me.
"How is the academy, my child?' My aunt Hilda shoutingly asked from the kitchen. I guess the finding wasn't done yet.
I was very different from My younger sister, and the aunt knew that. Sabrina focused on the fun and happiness of the mortal world, while I focused on our coven and my blood being a pureblood witch. I always made her aunties proud. I signed the Book of the Beast with no doubts at all.
"It's good! I've been excelling in my current classes. Father Blackwood was thinking I should take up private lessons. He is willingly sharing his knowledge with me." I explained as my aunt Zelda smiled proudly.
"What's it like? At the academy? Are there demon teachers or poisonous traps?" Sabrina voiced as she leaned her elbows on her knees. Shots of curiosity glistening in her eyes.
All of us including Aunt Hilda laughed at the atrocious questions Sabrina just asked right now. Her confused face says it all. That's when I knew Sabrina would be the talk of every conversation at the Academy Of Unseen Arts.
I stood up and took a seat next to her, taking both her in mine. She's going to really adjust to the differences between the witching world, and the mortal world.'"
"At the Academy, we learn marvelous things, like demonology, conjuring, necromancy, sacred geometry. We embrace' our Satan-Given rights as witches to learn what mortals can."
"I couldn't agree more Nicolette. Now we must continue to our dinner before it gets cold." Aunt Zelda walked out of the living room and made her way to the dining room while the three of us followed her.
Not long after dinner, the aunt realized they hadn't kept track of the time and went to bed, Ambrose went to go read his books in the attic. Which left the two sisters in front of the Spellman entrance.
"Can you do me a favor, Nicolette?" Sabrina asked out of the blue while the older sister was putting on her red satin heels.
"Sure, what do you need Brina?"
"Can you teach these douchebag mortal boys a lesson? They've been terrorizing my friend and I need them to stop." asked which caused me to bite my lips conflicted.
"You Know I stay out of mortal affairs Sabrina. For the sake of the coven, we can't just use our magic for some stupid mortal situation." I tried to get through to the blonde but it was as if it went through one ear and out the other.
My own sister will be the death of me I swear.
"I know Nicolette but just this once? I hate to see her so down." Sabrina pleaded with her hands clamped together.
"Fine, what did you have in mind?"
...
Tonight at the witching hour is my beloved younger sister's dark baptism. It's been on my mind for about 2 hours now. I would get myself out of bed but a certain dark-haired warlock had his big arms slithered around my waist anchoring me to the bed.
"Nicholas for satan's sake, I have to see my sister, tonight is her dark baptism."I tried to tell him but Nicholas has always been a very heavy sleeper so I cast an illusion charm to take my place in his arms.
I had teleported myself to the familiar Spellman Entrance where I greeted the aunts and Ambrose while they all had their breakfast. Well, Ambrose was the only one eating, Aunt Zelds was smoking a cigarette, while Aunt Hilda was working on some herbal tea.
Not long after my arrival Sabrina finally decided to bless us with her presence and walked into the kitchen. As I hugged her, I felt something was wrong. Something tonight would not go as planned.
"Good morning, aunties, Ambrose, And Nicolette." I simply nodded my head, walked back to my seat, and I took a sip of orange juice.
"Why are you here cuz? No offense of course but don't you have classes you need to attend today?" Ambrose added while taking a spoonful of cereal.
"I do, and I also have a warlock who doesn't know he's sleeping with an illusion of me. Speaking of which I best be off. Here you go, Sabrina. I said as I handed the blonde a cage with four birds trapped inside.
"What is this?" She asked, confusion laced in her tone.
"Let's just say those jocks won't be rising to the occasion any time soon. Until you release the birds from the cage. A few weeks of impotence should teach them a lesson." I winked and smirked at Sabrina as she smiled and hugged me tight.
"Well I best be going before I'm late to demonology, And trust me lady Shadow isn't one for latecomers."Before I could leave Sabrina called out to me.
"Be there tonight. At my dark baptism. It would mean a lot." Sabrina almost pleaded.
"I'll be there I wouldn't miss it for the world. But I have plans before then that I must attend. Summon me when you start getting ready."
I said goodbye to my aunts and Ambrose before returning to his dorm with a fuming-looking warlock staring right into my soul.
"I can explain."
"Why in satan's name did I wake up without you by my side," Nicholas shouted at me.
"Oh calm down diablo I'm here now aren't"
Before I could say anything else pulled me to the bad we had a blast before our classes started.
Please Satan don't let her ruin what I have.
