After Wednesday, the school week flew by without any important events. Today was Saturday, the day I would meet NO NAME. We promised to meet up at noon, and grab something to eat.
Preparing myself, I decided on what I should wear on this one-of-a-kind occasion.
I mean, it's not anything special, right? Wearing anything fancy would just be weird. I decided to go for a more casual approach.
I ended up wearing a dark grey sweatshirt, some black sweatpants and a pair of white sneakers.
Satisfied with my outfit for the day, I decided to head out.
"Mom, Dad, I'm heading out now," I told them as I opened the front door. I already told them I wouldn't be eating lunch with them today, as I would be eating lunch with "some classmates".
I don't even know why I made up that lie on the spot. Probably because if my parents knew I was meeting up with a stranger I met online, they most likely would be worried, which was understandable.
I walked to the train station close to our house. Taking out my phone, I sent NO NAME a message.
kiyobaka : I'm omw NO NAME : Okay same
There was an Atafami companion mobile app which allowed you to view the current leaderboards, as well as message your Atafami friends, which was pretty useful since I obviously didn't have NO NAME's contact information.
The train was quite crowded, and understandably so. It was your typical Saturday. Families were going out, couples were going on dates, people were working and many students also went to extracurricular classes on Saturdays. Safe to say, I had no chance of getting a seat.
Luckily, I quickly arrived at Tokyo Station.
kiyobaka : I'm at Tokyo Station, are you here? NO NAME : I'm here NO NAME : I'm in front of the small convenience store inside the station at the central exit kiyobaka : Okay I'm coming, what are you wearing? NO NAME : A white shirt and a black and red jacket, with a black skirt
A skirt? Well, I didn't expect NO NAME to be a girl. I mean it could still be a guy. Hey, I'm not going to judge. I might get cancelled if I do.
kiyobaka : I'll be there in a sec
Tokyo Station was quite big, so it took me a little while to navigate through all the people and arrive at the meeting point.
I immediately noticed a person matching the outfits NO NAME mentioned.
Wait a second... isn't that...?
"Um... excuse me, are you NO NAME, by any chance?"
She looked up from her phone and looked at my face.
"Yes! I'm- wait, what?! Aren't you the guy from the ice cream shop?"
"I guess so, I never thought you were NO NAME. I guess coincidences can be freaky, huh."
"You're right, what a coincidence! Well, nice to meet you... again, Ayanokoji-kun!" she smiled.
