As the ninja settled back down Lloyd asked “Was Harumi influenced by my grandma?”
“Lloyd, are you seriously still crushing on Harumi?” Jay said  mockingly
“Of course, he is, just like you did Jay, you crushed on me for years!” Nya said in protest
“Lloyd, your assumption is correct,”
“Wait what?” all the ninja said in shock
“As you all know Harumi supposedly turned evil because she lost her parents because of the Great Devourer. But something didn’t make sense as you all know your friend Lloyd was a child and didn’t even know how to use his elemental powers yet. I’m surprised that you did not all notice this aspect of Harumi’s motives, she wanted to destroy Lloyd to feel what she felt but Lloyd was a child and had little part in the release of the devourer, at least to Harumi’s knowledge but you all know that he released the serpentine.
This is where your grandma comes in, Lloyd your grandma influenced Harumi to think that you could have stopped the Great Devourer. The reason she did this is because she knew when you were born you had her husband's power. But she thought she would be fine for a while because you were just a child and had no intention of becoming a hero. But as you all know you eventually took him in for training after figuring out he was the legendary green ninja.”
As all the ninja stared shocked Lloyd said “So Harumi d- didn’t do anything wrong,”
“Yes Lloyd, she did nothing in her control,” Phil’s dad said
“Back to Harumi’s tale, your grandma Lloyd, as you know now wanted to kill you so she used your love interest to get in your head. Now there was another reason she used Harumi. She used her to bring her son back from the dead. She wanted her son’s evil side so she could finish you off once and for all but as you all know her attempt failed.”
After Phil’s dad told them about Harumi’s true self they all felt bad and Lloyd cried as he realized that Harumi did not actually hate him but quite the opposite she had feelings for him just as he had feelings for her.
