I was graduating from 9th grade (I'm 10 now) and so, we had these little stuffed animal dog plush that people could sign in. I was too shy to ask my classmates, which is something I kind of regret now. So first, I asked this waiter. If I remember correctly, his name was Don? He signed it with glee and I felt happy. Because he was the first person to sign ever it, really. Then I explored the rest of this hotel place and went to the bar. I know I couldn't drink I was just curious. Now I asked this bartender, (I think his name was Moe?) to sign it, and he did.
Now, these might seem like pointless signatures to you, and I'll admit, they kind of are. But in a way, they mean so much for me. And I don't know why. Maybe it's because of the afterthought, realizing that I'll never see them again in this life. And their signature is the only recollection I'll ever have of them.
I'd like to say thank you though. Thank you for making my night that night.
