Millions of years ago, there were dragons and beasts beyond imaginative proportions prospering in an ancient land. Although dragons are still around, their ancestors were drastically different- each and every one of them could outshine the stars, becoming a beacon of hope on the darkest nights. These dragons lived to light even the most viscous darkness possible, their scales glimmering no matter their condition. But as it goes, all light eventually dwindles and fades away...

"In a time before your generation, the world was out of order. The stars were hidden away by the pollution of unending light, and the flowers grew to inexplicable sizes. They became a hivemind no one could predict, unstoppable under their rulers. We called them the Flowerkind, petals and blossoms sprouting from their eyes and vines mimicking sentient life. These 'creatures' were greedy, always hunting for new prey and resources. Fire and weapons could do them no harm. Claws and talons could not cut their foliage or pick their flowers, all who tried have been lost. Decades of an overgrown planet past, and our savior finally arrived- we called her The Dragoness."

Although I mustn't spoil anything yet, feel free to make guesses and such about involved characters, the plot, etc.! This is a completely ORIGINAL story with more or less inspiration from the following sources: (this may be subject to change)
