Kinkamoon/Moonjou

Kinkamoon or mostly known as Moonjou is the ship between MoonWatcher of the NightWings (Also known as Moon) and Kinkajou of the RainWings.

This ship was first observed back in 2014 when the sixth book of the series, Moon Rising came out. Although, it wasn't a popular ship at that time due to fans already fighting over Moonbli (Moon x Qibli) and WinterWatcher (Moon x Winter).

People stared shipping it after reading how close they are with one another, in Moon Rising, readers saw how much Kinkajou and Moon became trusted with one another. Both Kinkajou and Moon were shown to be a bit jealous when the two expressed their friendship with other dragons; ' "Tamarin!" Kinkajou cried. "Oh you must be in the Gold Winglet, she's my friend!" Moon decided not to be hurt by this. She knew Kinkajou would have other best friends. Possibly six more by the end of lunch time. ' , ' Does she like her better than me? Kinkajou thought forlornly. ' Moon was able to read form Kinkajous mind; "I love my clawmate!" While Moon suggested seeing all the commotion in Jade Mountain Academy (Page 133 and page 102 in the graphic novel).

However, Moon never told Kinkajou about her Mind Reading powers. When Kinkajou found out, she felt betrayed and refused to talk to her as she thought Moon didn't trust her enough to have this secret even what they've been through. Fortunately, the duo made up and are now even closer than before.

Moon and Kinkajou were always seen with one another afterwards until in Winter Turning, Kinkajou was attacked by Chameleon, disguised as ShapeShifter. Kinkajou was put into a coma for a while and Moon never left her side until the RainWing meds had to take her back into their village. We don't see how Moon deals with this as the next POV was Perils and she went on a whole other adventure.

When Kinkajou finally awoke, thanks to Anemones spell, they reunited in Talons of Power and are seen hugging. They're now even closer as Kinkajou stuck by her side went she was able. She even defended Moon when Anemone used animus magic against the two.

But, soon, Moon and Qibli get together and with Anemones love spell, Kinkajou had a crush on Turtle (Thankfully removed in Darkness of Dragons). We don't really get to see much of their friendship in and after the epilogue as everyone moved on from the Darkstalker event and was busy with their pwn life's.

I caught go on and on but I think you get the point. (Can't you tell I'm a Moonjou enthusiast?)

The only cons of Moonjou is that they're always shown to be very close friends and don't have any romantic attention at all.

The fandom never really liked the ship as they thought that they would be better as best friends as Moon already had a Partner, Qibli, and Kinkajou had an implied crush, Turtle. But, in recent years, the ship has slowly become more popular and is being more noticed.

I think you all know my rating but incase I needed to say it, 10/10, if I could, I would rate it 100/10 because I love them. Ik this is supposed to be biased and give out information for some but they're just so cute.. I could rant about them for hours I swear.

So yes, I love Moonjou, I'm a Moonjou enthusiast, I will die on that hill and never change my mind.

Also ignore the fact I disappeared for like a month I had stuff to do irl and couldn't update up but soon I'll do more ships.
