Chapter 30: Absorption of Darkness

As Kiren collapsed to the ground, exhausted from the battle, Zero struggled to stand, holding his stomach in pain. Both of their gis were ripped and damaged from the intense fight with Swo.

Zero approached the two halves of Samuel lying on the ground, one with his eye returned to normal, the other Dark. Dark energy began to cover the wounds of the halves, and to their surprise regenerate the two. Samuel emerged from one of them, fully recovered.

Confused, Zero asked Samuel what had happened. Samuel explained that while trapped inside the demon's mind, he had a revelation. He had believed Swo was the demon responsible for killing his family, but he was wrong. Swo was actually running from other demons for an ancient crime he had committed. In a desperate attempt to escape, Swo sealed himself inside Samuel's body, hiding from the demons seeking revenge.

Samuel revealed that the dark demonic energy of Swo was what kept him alive during the attack on his family. It was the power of the demon that allowed him to survive the ordeal. Samuel added that him and Swo had only done all this to remain in hiding and that the two had common enemies and thinks that the two could work as a team.

With a determined look, Samuel leaned down and placed his hand on Swo, enveloping him in a blinding light. In a powerful act, Samuel absorbed Swo back into his body, stating that Swo was now a part of him. Together, they would face the true enemy—the unknown demon that had been manipulating them all along.

As Samuel stood back up, a mix of worry and readiness filled his expression. He knew that the battle was far from over, but with Swo's power now under his control, he felt an inner strength and resolve to confront the true enemy and dispose of the darkness that plagued the world.

Kiren, still recovering from the battle, watched Samuel with a mix of relief and admiration. He had feared that they might have lost their friend forever, but now he saw a glimmer of hope—a chance for redemption and a future free from the shackles of the past.

With a solemn nod, Samuel turned to Kiren and Zero, conveying his gratitude for their unwavering support and friendship. He knew that he couldn't face the unknown demon alone, and he trusted his friends to stand by his side, no matter the challenges ahead.

Samuel and Zero, and Kiren stood together, prepared to face the unknown demon that had deceived them. The journey ahead would be fraught with challenges, but they were ready to confront the darkness and restore peace to the world.
