Yuri's Granddaughter | My Happy Marriage

Chapter 1. The Cherry Blossoms.

It was the day in spring when the cherry blossoms bloomed , I was under the cherry blossom tree, crying, because that day had changed my life , forever.

I was being sent off to be wedded by the emperor's prince, the first son of the emperor. When all I wanted was to be married too my best friend kiyoka Kudou, we grew up together in the Kudou mansion, he was the second son of the Kudou family, and the next head of the Kudou family.

He came up to me while I was crying,  he made a promise to me that one day he will come and look for me. If anything bad has ever happened to me.

That was our promise, and till this day I had hoped for that promise to come true, I was still patiently waiting for him to come and take me away from this place, that I was hoping for a dream come true, but then that day when they arranged me too be wed by the emperor's son, that dream became a nightmare.

He held me close under the cherry blossom tree, until it was time for me to leave.

He then gave me a secret letter , a poem about our friendship and our love for each other, but, that was then, and , this is now.

It's almost winter, my favorite season of all year long, I loved the cold, the cold always felt comforting to me, it was my safe haven for me, whenever it was hot I would always get sick and ill, it was like the winter was meant for me, but before winter came along, something terrible had happened to me, in late spring, I was having a child , it was the the emperor's sons next heir , I was happy and in love with the child.

So I had to be happy for the royal family, but, one night, I was in my rose garden, admiring the full moon , while rubbing my stomach, I was about to give birth soon, it was almost that time.

I was smiling because I was happy, until I decided to go back inside, in my room where the prince and I sleep, I couldn't believe my eyes , I was hoping it was a nightmare, but, everything was real, my husband, the prince, was on top on one of his maids, he was, inside her, and I could hear both of their moans, but then she looked to where I was standing and gasped , making him stop , he looks where she was looking, and sees me in the doorway, "h-how c-could y-you"? I asked as I was now studdering.

He sighs in annoyance but decides to get up and get dressed," we'll finish this up later darling" , he says too the maid, " of course, sweetheart, I'll be ready when you come back", she says with a smirk , she then looks at me and wickedly grins at me and giggles a little , of course, I glared at her , I wasn't just mad , I was furious.

How could he do this to me when he knows that we have a child on the way? "Why? Just why"? I asked him, he takes me by the arm and rushes me out of there, we end up at a pavilion in the rose garden, he sighs once again putting his hand through his hair, " look, I only married you because my father needs an heir, I never intended to marry you to begin with, it wasn't my decision on this", he says , now looking at me.

"And the fact that you know my secret , well, I might just have to kill you", he says and then wickedly grins at me , and then his eyes turn bright red.

"You wouldn't"? I asked , now scared for my life, "oh but I would, you know my secret, I don't keep people alive if they ever found out what I do in my free time", he says.

He slowly comes towards me , his eyes still bright red, "no, NO"! I say as I started shouting, he grabs me by the neck with his two hands, "look directly into my eyes as I say this, I was never in love with you, I never cared about the child, nor have I ever cared about you, I had made sure to make the servants and maids treat you terribly, and of course they obeyed my every command , and for their reward I gave them my body", he says as his hands tightened around my neck.

It was getting hard for me to breath, " b-but w-w-what a-bout the e-emperor"? I asked , while struggling to speak and breath.

"My father has nothing to do with me, I can do whatever I please, he doesn't care for you either , you're just a pawn in his game, you're useless, when me and my father discussed privately , he told me that when the baby is born, we get to throw you out", he says , I can feel his rage radiating off of his hands, I have the ability to feel others emotions , and when I do I either feel scared, sad or furious, sometimes I hardly ever feel any happy emotions , at all.

"NO PLEASE! STOP"! I say as I continued shouting," stop struggling you wrench , this'll make it easier if you just be quiet"! He says as he shouts back at me.

I can now feel his heart beat rapidly, his body shaking uncontrollably, and then I a vision came to me , it showed me how I died, I was covered in blood, the baby was still inside me, but, I couldn't see myself or the child moving, and then a pare of red glowing eyes stare at me with hate , and with evil.

I knew right then who it was, and if I don't stop him soon, that's when it will happen to me, so I gained all of my strength, I was calling out for it, to come forward and save me, save me from this wicked man, and all of a sudden, I felt my body shiver all over, my vision turned everything blue, what I can see the person in front of me was red all over, like fire and blood, and then as I was starting at the person in front of me, I look down to see where his heart was beating, it was bright red with black smudge cloudy mists around it.

That's when I knew, I had awakened my power within me, I managed to scream as loud as I could, he backed up away from me and covered his ears, my scream was so loud it sounded like a blood curdling scream of a dying woman trying too escape her murderer.

That's when I opened my eyes again everything around me was frozen in ice, "w-what a-are y-y-you"? He asked me, I could tell that my eyes are blue, because from the frozen large ice beside us my eyes were shining like a blue crystal gem.

I turned back to look at him, his eyes filled with fear, his body shaking as if he saw something terrible, and then I spoke to him," I am , the ice princess", I say with an angelic magical voice that sounded nothing like my own, "I am the ice queens lost Princess and this is my host , she is my other half, and I am , her true self, I am her protector, her savior, and I am her guardian", says the deep beautiful voice.

I can hear what she's saying to him, it's like I have another person inside me, talking for me, I can feel her power, her strength, and her hatred towards my husband, "please no"! I say as I shout, my voice finally came out , I could hear myself speak again, " do not defy me princess, let me protect you", she says while through my mouth and talking too me in my head.
"W-w-w-what's h-happening to m-m-me"? He asked, "I-I-I f-feel s-s-s-so c-c-cold ", he says as he puts his hands around him, trying to keep himself warm.

"Hurry! It was over here"! Shouts a mans voice, "HELP! HELP ME"! Shouts my husband , I quickly went up to him and covered his mouth, "if you make another sound I will kill you here and right now, but, I won't, I have a child inside me, so I'll spare your life, and I'll flee, you'll never see me again, do I make myself clear"? Asked him, he shakes his head rapidly as tears start forming in his eyes.

"Now, I'ma go now, and don't you think about sending your men to find me or her, is that clear"? She says as she still has my hand over his mouth.
"THERE! THERE THEY ARE"! Shouts the man , we both turn to see the guards quickly approaching us, "CAPTURE HER! NOW"! Shouts the commander, she turns quickly towards my husband and glares at him, he immediately shakes his head yes in response.

Then she lets him go, she and I flee into the night, " STOP HER"! Shouts the commander, all of a sudden they shoot arrows towards our direction, but she puts her hand out in front of us and shoots ice crystals towards them and freezes the arrows before it could hit us.

We look back one more time and see the prince seeing fear written all over his face, eyes wide open, and mouth dropped open and his skin pale white like a ghost. We smile wickedly at him and then we vanished into the night.
