Chapter 5. A Winters War.

A week has passed and Kyoko is still in a coma from giving birth, the doctor told us that it took a real toll on her body for giving birth , for the first time.

The baby is healthy, she already has a little bit of hair on her head, but we still haven't given a name for it, yet, we wanted to wait until Kyoko would wake up, hopefully soon.

It's still snowing outside, it never ends, unless it's Kyoko controlling this never ending cold weather. "Lord Kudou, we need to get more food for the winter, we're almost out," says Hanajima to Kudou, "yes, I know," he says as he looks through a bunch of paperwork on his desk, while in his study.

"Do we have enough financial support to cover us throughout this winter ,"? She asks, "yes, we do," he says, it was quiet for a moment, until Miyo and miss Yurie came into the study room along with carrying the baby with him, "we need to go into town to get more baby food," says miss Yurie, "the snows getting thicker, I don't think we can go in a carriage," Miyo says while sitting down next to kiyoka.

"Nonsense, we can go into the carriage if we need too," says kiyoka, "we need someone to go and get more firewood for the furnace," says miss Yurie, kiyoka stops at what he was doing and looked at all the women in the room with him.

"Oh Lord Kudou , there's a letter for you from the castle ," says Hanajima as she hands him the letter. He takes the letter from Hanajima and starts opening and reads it.

" Dear commander, you have something rather important to us, please send the child over or there will be consequences, and about the prince's wife, if she does not come forward and face her actions, she will be executed by hanging.

This is the emperor's report, if she or you do not surrender now, we will hereby force you or anyone else that will be going to prison for disobeying the emperor's direct orders.

P.S. we will have the castles guards come by and receive the child and Kyoko herself, any who objects will be sent to prison or be hanged by the emperor's executioner ,".

After reading the letter he read it aloud so that the others could hear what's on the letter, after reading it, they all gasped in horror.

"What are we gonna do,"? Asked Hanajima, "we need to go and hide and keep Kyoko and her child safe," says miss Yurie, "but where would we go,"? Asked Miyo.

The baby started making soft sobs and immediately Miyo rocks the baby softly back and forth in her arms trying to keep it quiet, everyone was freaking out by what they have recently received by the emperor.

But kiyoka had another thought, he needed to protect Kyoko, but what can he do when he has three other women living with him or the child itself? And then he thought of a brilliant plan, he'll bring the women too his work and there they will be safe.

"I have a plan," he says, now gaining their attention, "we will move into my military Special Anti-Grotesquerie Unit building and have all of you kept safe until this war ends ," he says as he gives them all that stern determined look of his, they all widened their eyes about what he had said. "I will have my men stay with each of you including Kyoko at all times,while we stay there, it will be rough while living there for awhile, but, I am doing this to keep all of you safe, only on Kyoko's sake," he says while giving them each the same look.

NOTE/ AND SUMMARY OF WHAT THE Special Anti-Grotesquerie Unit MEANS :

Kiyoka's unit is the Special Anti-Grotesquerie Unit, in charge of handling anything related to the Grotesqueries. Almost all members of the unit have Spirit-Sight or an even greater power. Also known as the military academy. So to speak.
