Chapter 3. The Fury & The Conflicts

The Emperor's Castle Scene --------

The person was running into the great hall of the castle, where the king and the queen sit on their thrones, beside them were the councilors of the royal family.

"Your majesty! Your majesty"! Shouts the man running into the great hall, he kneels down in respect in front of his Majesty and the empress of the castle.
"What is it , count "? Ask the emperor, "it's about your son your majesty, he has been injured badly ", says the count.

The emperor stands up from his throne, " where is he"? He ask the count, "he's in the castle infirmary ", says the count. Immediately the emperor follows the count along with the empress beside him, they follow the count through the castle to get to the infirmary, there they meet the royal court doctors treating their eldest son Ayakatsuki Chen Ling.

"What happened by son"? Asked the emperor, who approached him by his bed side , the son grunts in pain, he had bandages rapped around his left eye, all the way down too his left arm and around his waist, his right eye was scarred and bruised, "i-it w-w-was h-h-h-her", he says while hardly speaking.

When he meant by 'her' the emperor knew exactly who he meant by, which made the emperor furious, the empress sits down on her knees next too the bed and softly rubs the son's arms and caresses his cheek gently. "What do we do love"? Asked the empress too the emperor, " we find her and bring her back here and kill her", says the emperor, "everyone immediately summon the guards! Make sure to tell them that I ask them to go find the wrench that hurt my son! Go! Now immediately"! Shouts the emperor, immediately everyone starts running around and out of the infirmary.

Now the whole castle is in chaos after hearing the emperor's fury, they gathered the guards in position and the emperor immediately walks up too the castle guards and gives them explanation about the recent wife of his sons, he explained that she is pregnant with his next heir, and that he needs her back into the castle to take the baby and then kill the wrench.

The whole castle was in chaos, people running around and attending the son's injuries while hearing the emperor's fury.

~ The emperor's POV ~
I want my revenge on this woman who has destroyed my son, I will NOT step down now and I will NOT give up. I want the next heir from that wicked woman, I already knew about her families special abilities with the next heirs blood roaming with hers and with mine, my empire will be ever so powerful.

Kyoko's POV ~

It was already evening at the Kudou's place, I was in the garden, while wearing my winters coat, it was snowing, already, I had a small cup of honey tea in my hands to keep me warm while my new lady-in-waiting stood next to me reading a book, "the weather is cold today miss, should we head inside for a bit to warm up"? Asked my lady-in-waiting, her name is Hanajima, kiyoka hired her as my personal maid while staying here.

She would also be helping me during my birth in two days time, she has long wavy red hair, eyes the color of jade, she's in her mid twenties almost the same age as me. "If you wish to go inside you may, the cold has never bothered me", I said as I turn to look at her, her cheeks rosey pink flushed by the cold, and I could tell that she is shaking a bit, "besides I am not the one who is shaking", I say as I set my tea down next to me.

I can tell that she is blushing in embarrassment, every time she gets embarrassed she looks away shyly which sometimes amuses me.

"I'd like to be alone for a minute if that's okay with you,"? I asked her, she turns around quickly,"if that is what miss wants then I'll be inside, I won't be far ", she says and then grabs her book and walks inside. Finally I am alone at least, suddenly I feel my baby kick a little, I look down at my stomach and rub it a little, the baby kicks once more, "yes I know, momma loves you too", I said as I keep rubbing my stomach, feeling joyful at the feeling, knowing that my baby is healthy and happy.
