(Y/N)'s POV
*Flashback*
Mom: "Run honey! Don't look back, just keep running!"
(Y/N): "Mommy?" I said in a scared tone.
Mom: "Listen to me, I need you to run far away from this place. Find your uncle and don't ever look back!"
???: "There they are!"
I looked behind my mom and I saw about 3 members of our cult running towards us!
Mom then pushed me towards the direction of the exit!
Mom: "Go! I love you honey!"
She then pushed me again and I began to run away from this. I looked behind me and I saw my mother fighting off the members but I then watched as she was getting overpowered and I saw them begin to eat her!
(Y/N): "Mom!"
Mom: "Don't look back! Go!" She said before I saw one of the members bite down on her throat.
I saw another group of cult members catch up with the other members and one of them yelled:
Cult Member #1: "Get the deserter!" As three more people began to run towards me.
I exited the building as I crashed through the doors of the building and as I was running away I fell down in the road. I looked behind me and I saw the three members barged through the door of the building!
Cult Member #1: "There he is! Get him!"
I looked over at the nearby cornfield and I decided to run into it to try and lose them! I was a kid so while I couldn't run very fast, I was still very little so it would be easy for me to hide, especially since it was the night. I ran until I couldn't anymore so I decided to crouch down and try to hide. I waited for a couple of seconds before I heard them coming from the direction I was running from.
They didn't even see me as they ran past the my position. They stopped however and they began to look around.
Cult Member #2: "Where the hell did he go?"
Cult Member #1: "He must have hidden some place we passed! He can't have gone far!"
Cult Member #2: "Let's spread out and look for that little fucker!"
