Y/N's P.O.V

"Yo, I think I wanna get married." I say talking to Offset.

"Really? Didn't y'all just get together?" He asked.

"Yeah but like it's different. I've been in love with my girl since I was sixteen. I'm a few years away from forty now. It's like I'm at an age where I want to take that step and settle all the way down. Like start a family type shit. I mean you did it." I respond.

"Marriage gon' change you. But it's a good type of change. If that's what you really want to do then go for it. I just know I better be the best man." Offset said.

"You know Quavo will fight you about that." I chuckle.

"Times have changed. You can have more than one best man. Might as well put all of us up there. Turn that shit into a Migos wedding." He responded.

"You might be on to something. You tryna go ring shopping with me?" I ask.

"Let's go nigga." gHe said.

I'm more than positive that I want to marry Solange. We've already wasted a lot of time and I refuse to waste any more. She's the love of my life. I don't want nobody else but her. I need her.

Now me being me, of course I'm doing this all backwards. I've never done anything by the book. Who goes ring shopping first without asking for the blessing of their parents? Me because I can care less if Tina and Matthew don't approve.

Don't get me wrong though, I do love her parents. They're like my second family. But I'm trying to put a ring on their daughter, not them.

Solange was out being the creative director that she is for her Saint Heron institution. I knew that would take awhile so I had a lot of time to get this right.

Even though I said I didn't care I would still prefer to talk to her parents. Except I'll do that afterwards. I gotta come correct with this ring.

"Yo, this one is crazy. Half a milli for a ring is wild." Offset said pointing at one of the rings.

"Love costs a fortune." I reply.

I know that Solange is very old school so my first thought was to go with something more vintage. Still want something very flashy. My eyes landed on exactly what I was looking for.

"This the one." I say.

I would get it customized with our initials on the inside of it. This ring was over a hundred thousand dollars. Not that I cared or anything. Money literally means nothing to me.

I already know what ring size she is. This not my first time buying her jewelry but this time it ain't a gift. This is a symbol of our love.

The engraving would be able to get done the same day. It didn't take that long. I handed the lady my American Express black card to pay for it. Of course I got it insured. Anything could happen.

The ring came with a pretty box as they put it in a nice bag. I'm ready and fully committed for this next step. I'm pretty sure that I've been ready for this and now that it's actually happening, it's hard to believe.
