Chapter Fifteen: Revelations

Emma

The bullets hit his chest and just dropped to the floor as if they were feathers hitting a brick wall. It was such a close distance and happened so fast that the smoke from the gun was still rising up into the air. Everyone was shocked as the glanced back at me, and then at Frank who had busted out laughing. My jaw twitched as I lowered the gun and stepped back, flabbergasted at what I’d just witnessed. 

“Emma, my love, did you really think a gun could kill me? I am not human, I am more than human, and so are you and Emilia.” He said our names with such passion that it radiated over my body like a drug crawling through my veins, consuming my blood. Even though I knew what he did to us was terrible, he was still alluring to me. 

Emilia was feeling the same way, her thoughts were torn. We were both feeling ambivalent about all of this. She felt something for Onyx, they way I do for Draco, but we both love Frank just the same. 

“If a bullet doesn’t kill you, then what will?” I sneered. Part of me wanted to destroy him, the other part screams at me to run to him and seek solitude in his arms. 

“I’ll never tell, my love. But I must ask, why do you seek to destroy me? I’ve given you everything, made you immortal, and this is the thanks I get? I’m disappointed in you both. These men you sleep with and pretend to be happy with can do no more than what I’ve done. When they take you to Dimension X, are they going to love you or abandon you? Are you really willing to leave your beloved planet and all that you know because you’re mad at me? Are you that naïve, or just stupid? They’ll give you nothing in return, except some cheep sex. And is that even worth it?” His eyes beamed with mockery.

I was speechless. He made a valid point, but I felt violated yet loyalty towards him. Emilia was thinking of Onyx and Frank, she wanted both. She was beginning to develop into a bad girl, and felt compelled to say fuck you and run off with Onyx. But something was keeping her here, and she thought about me. I looked at her with sympathy and agony. She returned the look. 

Draco, however, was pissed. “How dare you! You know nothing about my brother and I, yet you make such harsh allegations. I will kill you if I have to!” He hissed.

Frank N Furter wasn’t phased by what Draco said. He just stood there chewing his red lip in a cocky fashion, looking as though he’d laugh again. Draco glared at him, clenching his fists. His white knuckles looked like they were going to explode. Onyx returned Franks cockiness, and said, “dear brother, do not fear for we have the upper hand here.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Emilia and Emma.”

“Obviously, but how do we have the upper hand?”

“We’ve already turned them against Dr. X, seduced them, and witnessed Emma attempting to kill him. They’re ours.”

They both grinned like idiots. But what he said pissed me off.

“I am not yours!” I shouted at Onyx. Emilia’s jaw hit the floor, and Frank broke out in a fit of laughter again. 

“What the fuck, Emma!?” Draco said.

“Are you doubling crossing us!?”  Onyx asked.

“No, I’m just not yours. I’m nobodies girl.” I back away. Emilia just starred at me.

What are you doing? She thought.

I don’t trust them, I thought back. 

She shook her head, Emma, I’m scared.

Come on, Emilia, come with me!
