"Amma darwaza kholiye hum aa gaye." Karishma knocked the door.
Billu instantly opened the door, "maa, Karu di aa gaye."
Pushpa ji came running behind him and hugged Karishma tightly, "dekh k cycle nehi chala sakti? agar kuch bohot bada accident ho jata to?" Pushpa ji scolding her daughter.
"kuch nehi hua Amma, dekhiye hum bilkul thik hai, aur Shivji hain na humare saath." Karishma assured her mother.
"Dekhao kaha chot laagi hai?"
"Haat mein, aur pair mein bas dard tha Jo dawai lene se thik ho gayi hain. ab mujhe andar vi aane dijiye!"
Pushpa ji let her enter, she sat on sofa huffing. Pushpa ji went towards kitchen and returned with Haldi and Water. "lo." she handed her the glass of water which she gulped down in one go. "ahh.. bohot pyaas laagi thi."
"ab apne haat dekhao.."
Karishma saw the Haldi, "Amma iski kya zarurat hai, hum bilkul thik hai. Haseena ji ne mujhe dawai laga di hain."
"ha kiu ki zimmedar hain wo, tujh jaisa la-parwah nehi hai, ab dikha haat."
"Bhooton se dar nehi lagta sahiba, Haldi se lagta hain. Please nehi.." Karishma pleaded with doe-eyes.
"Karu wo dekh, Gaay pedh par chad rahe hain." Pushpa ji pointed towards window.
"kaha? kaha?" Pushpa ji hold her injured arm and applied Haldi.
"Ahhhhh.. mar gaye, mummyyy.." The crows who were sitting peacefully at that tree filed away cursing her!
Flashback
Little Karishma came running towards Pushpa ji. She was weeping and wiping her tears, walking with difficulty as there is a large wound in her left leg.
"Amma, Amma" she hugged Pushpa ji tightly.
"kya hua? kisne rulaya meri Karu ko? are! dikhao kaise hua ye?" Pushpa ji kneeled infront of Karu.
"wo Neha ne kaha ki 'teri mummy papa tujhe dukhan se kharid kar laye hai' aur 'tu anath hain, hum aise logon se nehi khelte.' Karu wiped her tears and nose.
"kya? usne aisa kaha? par ye chot?"
"usne mujhe dhakka diya." Pushpa ji couldn't believe that this kind of teaching, Neha's family was giving her.
"tum baitho yeha, hum abhi aye." Pushpa ji came back with Haldi.
"dikhao." She applied the Haldi and blowed some air to reduce pain.
"kya ye sach hai Amma ki main anath hu?"
"Kisne kaha? Neha ne? Hum keh rahe hai, Saroj Singh ki patni Pushpa Singh ki tum humari beti ho, humari pyari Karu." She kissed lovingly at her forehead, "sirf khoon ka rishta hi apna nehi hota, apna wo hote hai Jo tumhe bohot saara pyaar kare, tumhare dhyan rakhe, Samjhi?!"
Karishma nodded. "Kaha hai meri Karu, dekho tumhare baba tumhare liye Jalebi laya hai.." shouted Saroj Singh aka Pushpa Ji's husband from doorway.
"Jalebi, main aya baba." Karishma ran happily towards him and he lift her in his lap.
"Dhyan se." smiled Pushpa ji looking at them.
Flashback ends
After sometime Karishma was watching TV when she heard someone knocked the door.
She opened the door and saw a boy was standing with a cycle in his hand. It's her golu. "madam apke cycle, Haseena madam ne deliver karne ko bola."
"ap ka sukriya." Karishma handed him a glass of cold water which he accepted instantly.
"hum chalte hai madam."
Karishma nodded. She parked golu safely before returning home.
"Amma golu aa gaya." Karishma said excitedly. "ab hum sham ko cafe pe jayenge."
"bilkul ne-"
"please Amma mujhe din bhar ghar mein baith kar accha nehi laagta."
"Karu di is right, main vi bore ho rahi hu, please maa."
Pushpa ji agreed at last. Billu and Karishma highfived.
"Ha par dhyaan se."

Haseena was sat on her office looking at the paper infront of her. She touched the word 'Karry'.
Naina entered her cabin and smirked,"Karry aur Karishma, kuch kuch same same laagta hain na?" she whispered in her ear making her startled.
"Nain, koi privacy hi nehi hai meri!"
"uske bare mein soch rahi hai na? bol bol" Naina thought to tease her.
"Karry aur Karishma sunne mein ek lag sakte hain par unke character match nehi hote hain. Karry ek top surgeon hain aur Karishma? ek cafe chalati hain. Karry calm and composed woman hai, aur Karishma mein ye qualities hain hi nehi. Mere Karry k sath uska koi match nehi. She isn't my type." she said proudly.
"par-" before Naina could complete her sentence, Amar entered her cabin in hurry, huffing like he had ran 10km marathon.
"Naina-Haseena, social me-dia check karo." He said huffing.
"kiu-" Amar motioned her to check her phone. Both opened their Insta, and the first thing came 'her photo with Karishma'
Peoples are using Hashtags of her and that mysterious girl, calling her, Haseena's girlfriend. Oh shit!
Three of them looked at each other not knowing what to do. Just then Naina's phone rang, the name Ms. Shivani Pawar visible on the phone screen.
Naina quickly picked up the phone, "Hello."
"Hello Ms. Naina Mathur."
"ji kahiye?"
"wo humne Haseena ji ka girlfriend ki pictures social media par dekha. Kehna padega acchi choice hai unki. Wo dono bohot acche dikhte hai sath mein."
"ji thank you."
"Hum aur humari company k upper post k logon ne, netizens ka reaction dekha. Bohot positive response hai, to hum logo ne socha ki prebook release party mein agar Haseena ji apni girlfriend ko le ke aaye to book ki promotion 100× jyada hoga. I hope you know what I'm trying to say. We would try to give them full privacy, but chote chote appearance jaise ki party ya promotion mein agar wo log sath honge to accha hoga. I hope ap Ms. Mallik se iss bare mein baat karengi."
"ha bilkul."
"ok, see you then."
"ab kya?" Haseena looked at Naina who was in deep thought.
"main to kehta hu unhe sach bol dete hain." said Amar beside her.
"um hum, ekbar ye photo viral hone k badh to bilkul nehi, socho log kya uski book padna chahega jiski khud ki hi koi girlfriend nehi hai. Agar Haseen Karishma se help mange uski fake girlfriend ban ne k liye-" Naina looked hopefully towards her bestfriend.
"kabhi nehi, ye kaise ho sakta hain." Haseena instantly denied.
"sirf book deal milne taak, Haseen hum sab logone iss pal k liye kitna intezar Kiya hain. ab ek photo k liye tu book deal chod dega?"
"Haseen, Nain sahi keh rahe hai. Tumhein Karishma se madad mangni chahiye." Amar agreed with Naina.
"ok to fir.." Haseena release long sigh.
Her well build plan was verge of getting destroyed. All her efforts will washed off in one 'NO' of Karishma.
