The first thing which every bangalee checks in their calander is the date of Durga Puja. We waited a whole year for her arrival as being our mother or daughter.

Subh Navratri and শারদীয়ার শুভেচ্ছা।

Karishma hadn't expected to see Haseena's second family this time, but here she was. She felt a little nervous though she had met with Mrs. Mehta once in Haseena's office party. She couldn't be more agree that the woman is really cool like her mother. But what about rest? Mr. Mehta and her daughter, about whom she came to know few hours ago.

Mrs. Mehta again sponsered Haseena's success party. She couldn't be more happy as she jumped and danced few steps, which caused a little twist to her waist joint, but she didn't mind.

Naina has decided to join them later.

Before entering the gate, Haseena hold Karishma's hand tightly. Back then, walking into the house holding
Haseena's hand hadn't been a big deal.
Strangely, little intimate gestures like that were getting harder instead of easier. The touch of Haseena's hand against hers made her tingle all over, reminding her that while their relationship was fake, her feelings no longer were.

She was almost glad when Haseena let go to hug her parents.

"Congratulations beta!"
Haseena's mother embraced her, while her father patted her back and added, "You made us proud, hum bohot khus hain."
Haseena visibly glowed under their praise.

Then the Mehtas turned toward Karishma and greeted her with a warmth that made her feel guilty. Would they be sad when Haseena told
them they had broken up?

"Sonal bahar hain, usne kaha ki woh barbecue grill karega.." Her mother nudged Haseena. "Jao dekho usse, kahi apne ap ko grill na karde. Tab tak main apni hone wali bahu ko andar le jau!"

Haseena eyed her with a wrinkle between he brows. "Ap unhe kiu le jaa rahi hain? ap dono ki itni banti hain kya?" Then she pressed her lips together and fell silent, probably because she had remembered that this would be the last time they would visit her parents together.

"ha kiu ki yeh mera favourite beti hain." Haseena's mother answered with a smile.

"Aur main?" Haseena narrowed her eyes.

"Tum jao teel lene, chalo Karu.." She hooked her arm through Karishma's and drew her toward the kitchen.

Karishma was a little afraid of what kind of questions she would have to face there, but she couldn't help being touched by the way she treated her like her own daughter.

Between laughter, Karishma's eyes caught the healthy vegan foods lied on. Her laughter immediately vanished after looking at bowls of spinach salad sat on the kitchen counter, with the dressing already poured over them, ready to be served.

Karishma turned toward Mrs. Mehta, "Apko koi help chahiye?"
"Nehi, main bas kuch waqt apne beti se baat karna chahti hu."
Karishma gulped.

"Aise maat dekho." She chuckled. "Main kya itna darawna hu."

"Uh, nehi." Not her but the foods looks pretty intimidating, was she gonna made her eat those grass?

"Mujhe pehle lagta tha ki tum dono kuch jyada hi jald bazi kar rahe ho. Kiu ki maine kabhi Haseena ko love at first sight hote nehi dekha. Woh chodo, kisi ladki k sath vi nehi dekha." A sad smile flickered across her face.
