"Baby? I'm home!" Sasuke's voice echoes around the house

I continue to stir quietly the tomato sauce for our dinner tonight, pasta, Sasuke's almost favorite dish thanks to the sauce. As expected, his number one still is tomato soup though.

Arms wrap around my waist and I shiver a bit, he was cold.

Although it was now March, making it my second semester in my second year of college, the weather was still chilly.

I moved in with Sasuke a few months ago after his proposal last year, precisely around the start of college, in mid october. We thought it might be a good time for a fresh start.

My life has definitely changed, no matter how much I'd lie to myself. Living with Sasuke was a blessing, but sometimes it would feel like all I want to do is punch him right in his face.

Yes, we still get into heated arguments, but they are mostly erupting from small things and they never get out of hand like they used to before. Things are at a glance the same. Yet, time has made me mature a little more, it also contributed that I was now living with Sasuke.

"Thank you for cooking." he mumbles as he puts his chin on my shoulder and holds me tight. I turn my head a little and give him a kiss, happy that he's back after a long day at work. My eyes scan his tired face, which still holds a smile.

"Hope you'll like this, it's some recipe I found online." I smile and hold back a giggle

The last time we tried a recipe from the internet together, we ravished the whole kitchen and burnt the food. Our fridge was also empty, so we had to go out at 11 pm to eat something.

I can still remember Sasuke's grumpy face and how he was puffing out his cheeks unsatisfied with our result. He was tired and so was I because it was in the middle of exam season. Looking back on it now it's something cute to laugh about, but back then it was frustrating.

"Ugh, if it's one like the last time, I better not get undressed and we should already head out." Sasuke says annoyed and I let out the fit of giggles I was holding back moments ago

"Eh? Excuse you, now I cooked alone. I made it perfectly. I think it might've been your fault for that one failed recipe!" I tease him, a smirk playing on my lips

He spun me around quickly, and I let out a little yelp at the tight grip his fingers had on my waist.

"Sasuke! Careful, we're literally next to the stove!" I squint my eyes and scold him by poiting the spatula at him only to be met with one of his famous smirks

His hand cups my cheeks, puckering my lips and pulling my head closer to his face to smash our lips together.

His tongue licked my lower lip asking for access but I kept my lips closed, not allowing him in. Something that irritated him rather quickly and he pulled on my lower lip, biting it until it made me gasp at the slight pain and he took that as an opportunity.

This sly-ass man.

Sasuke's tongue meets mine and the kiss becomes too heated, so I try to pull back as my mind was still on the food cooking behind me on the stove. But he wasn't having it and only tightened his grip on my head pushing me to his lips more.

"Sas-" I try to call him out through the kiss and part but my voice was engulfed by the kiss

Lifting me from the ground, he places me on top of the counter and continues to make out with me, but after a few minutes and when I already smelled that the food was starting to get burned, I pushed him back with much more force.

"Sasuke! Look what you did! Now we don't have dinner anymore." I shout annoyed as I quickly jump down and stir the burnt food in the pan

"Now you know not to put the blame on me next time!" Sasuke says with a smirk on his face, and I slapped his chest "But this really is your fault now, you asshole! Ugh, you make me wanna scream!" I say frustrated rubbing my temples
