Chapter 14

❝You look downhearted.❞ Someone spoke behind him and then sat beside him. His hair was now dyed blonde and his cat-like eyes were staring at the Lee. ❝I don't need you to read me, Yeonjun Hyung.❞

The end of his lips rose, forming into a smirk. ❝You're too obvious. It was because of my sister, was it? You're chasing her back.❞ Yeonjun pretty sure guesses it right. Heeseung didn't speak after what Yeonjun said since he was already correct about it.

He got his glass and drink all the liquor inside. ❝Give me one again, please.❞ He said to the bartender. ❝Aigoo... Don't be like that. Besides, the marriage is still on.❞ He reassured his future brother-in-law.

❝How about I give you a plan? Pretend that you got an accident, let's see what reaction she'll be doing.❞ Yeonjun added but Heeseung refused and stood up from the counter and turned around.

He left the counter and went to the dance floor. He walks like he has no energy and was feeling dizzy. His vision was getting blurry as soon as he started walking.

❝Come on, let's just have a drink.❞

❝No, I'm sorry. I went here to see my husband.❞

❝Heh? You don't look like you have a boyfriend either.❞

Heeseung went straight to the two and stop the random guy who was trying to hit on the girl and force her to drink. ❝Sorry, I came here without your permission.❞ Heeseung apologizes to the random girl, trying to hint her to pull an act.

❝It's okay, I came here to pick you up.❞ The girl replied. Both Heeseung and her went out of the nightclub with Heeseung's arm that was wrapped around the girl's waist.

When they got out, Hee quit wrapping his arm around her waist. ❝I'm sorry for touching you randomly Ms.❞ He apologized. ❝I'd better take my leave now, be careful next time.❞ Hee advised and went to walk away from her but...

❝Are you okay??❞ she asked worriedly and helped Heeseung to stand up properly.

❝Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little dizzy because of the alcohol started to kick in hard.❞ Hee explained.

❝Where do you... live? I can drop you there.❞

Heeseung didn't reply to her for a second as he was imagining the face of A-Yeon if she saw him looking like that. Drunk and especially that he's with someone else.

❝No... not at home. Just to some near hotel.❞

❝Home is safer, you know.❞

❝I know but... I don't want her to see me like this. I don't... want her to think that I'm in a nightclub and was having a dance to someone else but the reality is, I just drink to ease my jealousy of her and that Youngdae.❞ Heeseung said.

She didn't speak for some time. Heeseung teared up.

❝Do you... love her that much?❞

❝Yes, I love her with all of my heart. I still love her even if she hates me. I can't afford to lose her anymore. I don't want her to love someone else. I love her after all we have been through. Always.❞

Heeseung woke up in a hotel room. His head hurts as he sat up from the bed. He picked up his shirt on the floor and wore it.

He stood up from the bed and went out of the room along with his blazer. He went down from the third floor and went to the receptionist.

After that, he walked to the large parking lot where he parked last night. His head still hurts but he managed to drive properly.

When he got home, he rang the doorbell since he lost his keys. The door then open as he was welcomed by the Choi who was still in her pajamas and was staring at him curiously.

❝Where did you go?❞ She asked in a cold tone. It hurts him to hear those cold tones of his beloved one. ❝I went into a nightclub last night and I booked a hotel because I know you don't want to deal with a drunk guy.❞ Heeseung confessed since he didn't want to lie to A-Yeon because it'll make her hate him more.

She just nodded and open the door for him to go inside. ❝Go wash yourself first. I'll get you some new clothes.❞ She ordered and went straight to Heeseung's room.

While Heeseung was taking a shower, Choi A-Yeon placed his clothes on the countertop near the sink and went out of the bathroom to prepare him an egg drop sandwich then she also prepared him some warm water with a spoon of honey and a hangover pill.

After Heeseung finally got out of the bathroom, he went straight to the living room with a towel on his shoulder, and his hair that was dripping wet. He was surprised that A-Yeon prepared him breakfast and warm water. ❝Eat this before drinking this pill.❞ She said and placed the hangover pill on the coffee table before leaving him in the living room just to go to her bedroom.

A-Yeon changed her clothes to a comfy one and head out of her room with a hair dryer in her hands. While Heeseung was eating his breakfast as he was watching a football match, A-Yeon was blow-drying his hair.

❝You're acting strange. Did you drink something that make you act like that?❞ Heeseung asked as he continued munching his sandwich. She just shrugged. ❝I'm your future wife. This is my duty as your partner.❞

Heeseung knew that she was only forced to do all these things. Besides A-Yeon is already in the process of unloving him. He was less surprised but this is hitting him hard. He already bet that she's already in love with someone else. ❝You know, A-Yeon...❞

❝Hmm?❞

❝I can do you a favor.❞ Heeseung said to her that made the Choi get so curious. Heeseung bit his lower lip. Even this favor hurt me...

I know that she'll be very happy to hear it.

And maybe...

That made our status as friends...

Even though it was against his will, he said it anyway to make the girl happy. ❝Marry me but I won't tell either of our family that you're in love with someone else.❞ A-Yeon stopped blowdrying his hair and wait for Heeseung to continue on his words.

❝Use me...❞

She turns off the blow dryer and unplugs it, placing it on the couch, beside Heeseung. ❝Do what you want.❞ She replied and walked inside her room.
