Chapter 5 - New Feelings

It's been 2 weeks since the 2 friends made up, they were closer than ever and Scaramouche started to realize he was catching feelings for Kazuha. It was slowly but surely. Kazuha on the other hand was starting to lose hope, he's trying to give up on his 'stupid' crush.

Tuesday, 

Kazuha walked to lunch, he was meeting up with Scaramouche again. He walked around the courtyard per usual to look for his crush. Once he saw him he was talking to a certain girl, Kazuha knew this girl. Her name was Lumine from what he remembered. 

He stared at the two, they were chatting happily. Scaramouche could be spotted blushing and smiling, only Kazuha every made him smile. Him and him only, what happened to that?

He felt his heart break but tried to keep himself together, by lying to himself.

It's okay, it's okay. You're not jealous, Scara's asexual, he doesn't like anyone. Right?'

He wanted an answer, and answer to his question. God wasn't on his side, he never was. He continued to stare, they were happy, smiling, carefree. He wishes he was Lumine, he wishes he was the one that made him smile like that. He wishes, but his wish will probably never come true, because in the end fate was never in his favor.

With Scara - 

The raven haired boy was waiting for Kazuha near the shade on the wooden bench when he saw a girl approach him. Not just any girl, it was Lumine. The gossip queen.

"Hey Scaramouche! Will you do the fandango?" She giggled as she sat down, gaining a menacing glare from Scaramouche,

"Shut up," 

"Yeah no, I heard Kazuha had a crush on you is that true?" She was blunt,

"W-what?" He calmed himself down and turned to look away from Lumine, "that isn't my information to tell,"

"Aw, you're boring," She groaned as she shook Scaramouche violently, "Oh! Why are you so red dear Scaramouche?"

"I- don't know what you're talking about..." He lowered his head like it would help reduce the bush on his face,

"Oh my god! You like Kazuha!" She started clapping and spinning around, happy her friend finally got someone he cared for, "I hope it works out!"

"Yeah about that..." He adverted his gaze to her, "I kind of rejected him when he confessed to me... ha... ha..."

"WHAT!? How are you this fucking stupid?" She slapped him gently, "Why'd you do that?"

"I panicked okay!? And I didn't realize I had feeling for him yet..." Scaramouche pouted and turned his gaze, he spotted a certain albino, staring at him and Lumine.

'Fuck, he got the wrong idea didn't he?!'

Kazuha slowly made his was over to his friend and the blondie. He greeted them with a smile and a wave, he was prepared to learn the truth about them two.

"So, Scara you got a girlfriend?" Kazuha poked his cheeks, and forced a lonely smile.

"No, she's just a friend," Scaramouche was denying the fact Lumine wasn't his girlfriend, though it was true.
