I woke up this morning like usual, you know get up, brush your teeth, and wash you face. To do my hair, I just spray my haur with axe and walk out. I went downstairs and noticed a noted on the table. It said ' Jake we went to a meeting about work, be back before you get out of school'. I was thinking want kind of meeting is on Friday, maybe its about me being adopted. I ran back upstairs and to get dress my closet was basically every single thing in the closet was the same. I just got a plaid blue and black shirt with black skinny jeans and blue converse. I ran down stairs and got my backpack that was just blue with black zippers. I walked out the door and saw the bus coming. I ran over to the bus stop while waving to Zack (my bestfriend). I got on the bus and saw Jade holding a seat for me, i walk over to her and sat down. She pecked at my cheek. "I missed you over summer break!" she said. I gave her a fake smile and she smiled back.

We finally passed the sign that read 'Elkwood High School'. We got off the bus and I yelled "Zack!" He walked over. "Hey whats with you anf your girl!" He asked. "I dont know we just aint that close anymore, she pretends but if you noticed i am with you and she is way back there with her friends." He nodded in agreement. We walked in the school, and i turned around saw Jade's eyes flicker from blue to another color. I didnt really see what color it flickered to but i did see, i just though maybe i was going crazy.

********JADE P.O.V.********

What is wrong with Jake, why is he ingoring me. Hiw can someone get over a loved person. It's o.k. boys will figure out I am signal, and will come lining up, and, "Jake will be jelious." "What did you say" said Sam. I turned my head quickly, "Oh sorry i was thinking and i guess i started to talk out loud." She nodded, "Than why would Jake be jelious..... OMG you like Zack!" I looked at her with wide eyes and and yelled, "No i dont like Zack!" I hurried and covered my mouth but it didnt help because everyone every was staring at me, even Jake and Zack turned around and I took Sam's hand and ran to the girl's bathroom. I against the wall and face palmed. "I cant believe you made me yell." She looked at me, with an innocent face and said, "Me, I didnt maje you yell that out you did it your self. How could I've made you yell that out?!" I looked at her mad, "You asked me the question!" She saw that I fused and just said, "Sorry..... Jade why are your eyes blinking from blue, to red, and back to blue, over, and over, again?" She was worried in the beginning but than she became confused. I looked in the mirror and look at my eyes. They were flickering and i started it get scared, i jumped back and hit my head, and looked at my eyes one more time they were blue. "Sam am I DIEING!" She looked at me with big eyes and you could tell she was in shock, she slowly started to talk. " Jade I dont mean to be rude or make you scared, but I think you are or tour going blind!" Sge yelled. "No I cant go blind i am the popular girl, everyone knows me for my pretty eyes, i cant die or go blind!" I started to sob. "Why, why me?!" Sam looked at me and said "i am sorry but i think you should go to the doctor or the councilor after school." I nodded. Ring ring! We jumped and started to laugh as walking back to our first hour. "Dont go to a councilor or a doctor or else!" "Sam did you say something" She shook her head and we ran to the girls locker room, to get dressed out, i had on pink Nike shorts, and a black t-shirt. Sam put on some black basketball shorts and a red t-shirt. We heard the gym teacher say something like run around the gym. We all started to jog around the gym, me and Sam jogged next to eachother. "Your not really think ti go to an councilor and say i am hearing voicea in my heard, are you?" "No i cant that would be weird" Sam looked at me like i was going crazy. "ARE YOU, ANSWER ME!" I jumped and fell backwards, the gym teacher came running over to me, "Are you o.k. Jade!" I nodded, and she told me, "Go to the nurse!" "Dont you dare" "NO I cant!!!" Mrs.Higgs looked at me like my face was melting or i was disappearing. "Why!" I looked at her deep in the eye and said, "Because he said no!" I whispered. She yelled for Sam and said, "TAKE JADE TO THE COUNCILOR!"
