Ayden's point of view:
A couple weeks later
Errg why do you humans even need school!!
So we can get a education and go to college and if you keep saying things like you humans, people are gonna think something's wrong with you I laughed
Are you going to college Ayden?
Well, yeah obviously Jake
What are you going for?
I don't know yet, I want to become a football player but I still need a plan I can fall back on if that doesn't work, I got up and made my way over to Jake.
What do you need help with?
Math,
Ah the subject mostly everyone hates, I smiled at him and took the paper from him, he only had one more question to go and it was the hardest one, I pulled a chair out and sat next to him after awhile we finished and I turned him towards me,
Now was that so hard Jake?
Yeah, but thanks for helping he looked away and then got up, I got up and wrapped my arms around him,
Well it's your fault for coming to school near the end of it, he turned around and placed a quick peck on my lips, I frowned at him and he looked at me confused,
I hate when you do that, only kiss me for a second I pouted, he smiled and kissed me for a second again but as he was pulling away I grabbed the back of his neck and smashed my lips to his, I hated when he only did a quick kiss and he did it to tease me.
I'm going to take a shower Jake, I said as I headed to the bathroom. When I got out Jake was drying his hair,
Jake let's go
What where are we going?
We're going to a party Wayne's throwing,
Oh okay...
Jake what's wrong?
You said you were going to celebrate my birthday with me, you promised me.
I'm sorry but I'll make it up to you later, come on we really don't wanna be late. He nodded his head I felt a little bad about not telling him the party was for him but it was supposed to be a surprise party. When we got there I kissed Jake real quick and shoved him through the door,
SURPRISE everyone yelled, the look on Jake's face was priceless and I got a picture of it.
Happy birthday Wayne and Kate said at the same time
Thanks guys Jake said while laughing,
Jake do you wanna go get some cake? Wayne asked
Sure, come on Ayden
I'll catch up with you in a minute he nodded before leaving, after he left Kate turned towards me
What did you get him for his birthday?
A picture of the first time we kissed and a guitar because he loves playing one
Hmm pretty good Ayden, I'm sure he'll love it but where is it?
I left it at home because if i would have brought it the whole surprise would have been ruined, now let's go Kate, I want some cake.
So Jake are you having fun?
Yeah, Kate this is really fun
Glad you like it, now how about we go open some presents Wayne said, I grabbed Jake's hand and lead him to the living room where everyone had gathered, Jake started opening presents and thanking everybody. We all had a good time we danced and talked to everybody, after about four hours of partying Jake and I said our goodbyes and made our way home. When we got home I took a quick shower and flopped onto my bed waiting for Jake to get out so I could give him his presents, he was taking a little to long for my liking so I went to go knock on the door but before I did I heard voices so I pressed my ear against the door,
Jake you have learned your lesson, so I will give you a choice stay with Ayden or become a demon again,
But dad can't I stay with Ayden and still be a demon?
Well you could but if you guys were to ever get married you would then have to choose to be a human or have Ayden become a demon also, the choice is yours son,
Well can I be a demon now and still stay with Ayden and if we ever get married we can decide then?
Very well, son.
He...he's a demon again, no please no, please let this be a dream. I heard Jake screaming so I ran into the bathroom and found him on the floor sobbing, I didn't know him getting his powers back would hurt him but I guess I wasn't listening when Wayne told me about them.
Jake? Are you okay? I said as I inched towards him, I still liked him but I was afraid of him again, he looked up at me and his eyes were black I couldn't help but scream and run out, I hid under the bed, yes I know I'm a pussy for doing so but last time his eyes were black I was flung across the room.
Ayden? Where are you? He started calling my name, no way was I going out there,
Ayden? He kept calling my name, he started looking around I realized it was only a matter of time before he found me,
Ayden, please come out I'm not gonna hurt you I promise, I promise. He started pleading and his voice cracked, I could tell he was about to start crying so I stuck my head out from under the bed a little,
H...hey I stuttered, just great now he really knows I'm terrified, I crawled the rest of the way out and sat on the bed across from him, he looked at me, he didn't say anything he just kept staring at me with tears in his eyes, I felt a little bad so I crawled over to him and sat in his lap with my legs wrapped around him and arms around him too, I just sat there hugging him. After awhile he hugged me back and we just sat there hugging each other.
